국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 독도가 일본의 영토라는 일본 외무성 주장에 대한 실태를 조사ㆍ분석하고, 이를 토대로 일본의 주장에 대한 문제점을 지적학의 관점에서 평가함으로써 독도문제의 본질과 대응방향을 제시하는 것이었다. 연구대상을 일본 외무성의 10가지 주장으로 한정하였고, 시간적 범위는 2008년 2월부터 현재까지로, 공간적 범위는 한국과 일본으로, 내용적 범위는 독도문제의 본질과 대응방향을 제시하는 것으로 한정하였다. 연구방법으로써 조사방법은 문헌조사법과 인터넷조사법을, 분석방법은 기술적(記述的) 분석법을 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 독도문제의 본질은 영토문제이며, 대응방향으로는 지적학의 접근을 토대로 일시적 대응에서 지속적 대응으로, 감정적 대응에서 이성적ㆍ논리적 대응으로, 단편적 대응에서 종합적 대응으로, 국내적 대응에서 국제적 대응으로, 소극적 대응에서 적극적 대응으로 전환하는 한편, 제3국과 북한과의 공조, 일본 내의 우호세력과 연대할 수 있는 네트워크 구축 등이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to research and analyze the argument of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan that Dokdo belongs to Japanese territory, to evaluate problems of the Japanese argument from the perspective of cadastrology focused on the research and analysis and thus, to present the nature of the Dokdo dispute and directions to take measures for it. The subject of this study was limited to 10 arguments from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The scope of time was set from February 2008 to the present while the scope of space was limited to the Republic of Korea and Japan. Also the scope of contents was limited to presentation of the nature of the Dokdo dispute and directions of measures. As for the research method, literature research and internet search were used, and a method of descriptive analysis was used for analysis. As a result of the study, the nature of the Dokdo dispute belongs to a territorial problem. As for directions for measures, concerted efforts with other third countries and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and construction of networks with allies in Japan are necessary while changes from temporary to continuous, emotional to rational and logical, fragmented to holistic, domestic to international, and negative to positive measures are desired.
