On the one hand Sin Chae-ho agreed with Kropotkin"s mutualism, but on the other hand accepted assassination from Russian nihilists" idea as Anarchism. He accepted assassination as anti-imperialism and developed it into a theory of People"s Revolution. We can see the theory of People"s Revolution in the "the Declaration of Independence of Joseon"(1923), which had a trait of a struggle of classes as a direct violence revolution of people.
He expressed the People"s Revolution literarily in the novel of "Miri vs Dragon"(1928). If we read the book in detail, we can find that he tried to break the traditional values, upsetting the image of the god of Korea and the dragon. The god of Korea in the text stood for not only monarchy and Japanese imperialism but also authoritative ideas and religions. He degraded and caricatured Sangje who represented Korean traditional god. In his writing Sangje degenerated into a mouse and Jesus was murdered by the popular revolution. As a kind of literary metaphor, it showed aesthetics which contained humor and ridicule for authoritative ideas and religions, and his opinion of the popular revolution.
Also, he classified the Yong into the Miri and the Dragon to express the traditional image. The Miri had meant a king but the author made it an image of a monster that squeezed the people. And champion of revolution as he was, the Dragon existed by the sound of, "He has come, he has come, the Dragon has come!" in the text, but he actually did not exist. The Dragon was expressed as "0". The absence of the Dragon showed the author"s opinion that the self-awakening of nation should be needed before the popular revolution. It is a kind of literary metaphor. Even though Kotoku Shusui who had influenced Sin Chae-ho"s Anarchism wrote a book about a dragon, his expression of a dragon was not better than Sin Chae-ho"s.
