국문 초록

  이 연구는 고용주가 정신지체인을 채용할 때 중요하게 생각하는 기준, 즉 정신지체인 고용 준거를 개발하는 데 그 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 정신지체인을 고용한 고용주 및 인사담당자 209명을 대상으로 정신지체인 고용 준거 타당화를 위한 조사를 실시하였다. 정신지체인 고용 준거의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증한 결과, 최종 정신지체인 고용 준거는 6개 요인 30문항으로 구성되었는데, 생산성 요인 6개 문항, 적응 및 지원 요인 7개 문항, 독립적 작업 수행 요인 7개 문항, 사회성 요인 3개 문항, 근무 태도 요인은 4개 문항, 행동 및 관리 요인 3개 문항으로 구성되었다.
  개발된 정신지체인 고용 준거는 지역사회 노동시장의 욕구에 맞는 직업재활 서비스 계획을 수립하는 데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 고용주가 어떠한 장애인을 고용하기를 원하고 특수교육 및 직업훈련에서 어떤 훈련을 받기를 요구하고 있는지를 알아볼 수 있는 준거로써 활용할 수 있으리라 예상된다.

영문 초록

  The purpose of this study was to development of employer"s criteria judged critical to employment of persons with mental retardation, that is, criteria for employer to think importantly when employer appoints people with mental retardation. For this, a survey was completed by 209 employers and managers of people with mental retardation. After that, reliability, validity and appropriateness of development of employer"s criteria judged critical to employment of persons with mental retardation were inspected to verify the last development criteria. The employer"s employment selection criteria for people with mental retardation included 6 factors of 30 items was constructed. The employment selection criteria consisted of production factor of 6 items, adaptation/support factor of 7 items, factor independent performance of job of 7 items, social factor of 3 items, production factor of 5 items, work aptitude factor of 4 item and behavior/management factor of 3 items.
  This study focused on exploration and validity of development of employer"s criteria judged critical to employment of persons with mental retardation. This results will help to establish planning of service of vocational rehabilitation, and will contribute to improve outcomes of special education and vocational rehabilitation, and will serve as instrument to identify employer"s need for hire preferred type of people with mental retardation and type of training in aspect of special education and vocational training.
