특수학교 정신지체학생의 정서ㆍ행동문제 특성과 관련변인

국문 초록

  본 연구는 정신지체 특수학교 학생들이 나타내는 정서ㆍ행동문제의 특성(정도와 유형)과 관련변인들(지역, 성별, 학교급, 장애정도, 가족형태, 형제자매 수, 어머니 교육수준, 가정 경제수준)을 살펴보기 위하여 정신지체 특수학교 학생들의 주 양육자를 대상으로 실시된 조사연구이다. 본 연구에서는 초ㆍ중ㆍ고등부가 모두 있는 전국 65개의 정신지체 특수학교 가운데 설립유형과 지역을 고려한 2단계비율층화군집표집(two-stages cluster sampling with proportional stratification)을 통하여 32개교를 선정한 후 각 학년별로 한 학급씩을 임의 표집함으로써 연구대상자를 선정하였다. 정신지체학생들의 정서ㆍ행동문제는 「아동ㆍ청소년 행동평가척도」(Korean-Child Behavior Checklist: K-CBCL)로 그리고 관련변인들은 연구자가 제작한 기초사항 질문지를 통해 측정하였다. 연구대상자들의 정서ㆍ행동문제의 정도와 유형은 기술통계(평균, 표준편차, 비율, 빈도 등)를 사용하여 분석하였고, 정서ㆍ행동문제 정도와 관련변인과의 관계는 상관분석과 중다회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였으며, 정서ㆍ행동문제 유형과 관련변인과의 관계는 X2-검증(상관성 검증)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 연구문제별 즉 정서ㆍ행동문제의 정도, 정서ㆍ행동문제의 유형, 정서ㆍ행동문제 정도와 관련변인과의 관계, 정서ㆍ행동문제 유형과 관련변인과의 관계 순으로 제시되었다. 제시된 연구결과는 연구문제별로 관련 선행연구와 비교하여 논의되었고 향후 관련연구를 위한 몇 가지 제언이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

  This study aimed to examine the characteristics(degrees and types) and related variables(region, gender, school level, severity of mental retardation, family type, number of siblings, educational level of mother, economic level of family) of emotional and behavioral problems in students with mental retardation at special schools. To do this, out of 65 special schools for students with mental retardation running all school levels(elementary, middle, and high) 32 schools were selected through two-stages cluster sampling with proportional stratification considering foundation type and region of the schools and then one class for each grade was randomly selected. Emotional and behavioral problems were measured with K-CBCL and data on related variables were collected using the questionnaire made by the researchers. To analyze the degrees and types of emotional and behavioral problems, relationships of the degrees of emotional and behavioral problems with related variables, and relationships of the types of emotional and behavioral problems with related variables, descriptive statistics(M, SD, ratio, frequency, etc.), multiple regression analyses, and X2-tests were used respectively. The results were presented in the order of degrees of emotional and behavioral problems, types of emotional and behavioral problems, relationships of the degrees of emotional and behavioral problems with related variables, and relationships of the types of emotional and behavioral problems with related variables. The results were discussed in relation to previous research and some suggestions for future related research were presented.
