국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 발달장애아동의 적응행동기술을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램 계획을 수립하기 위한 도구로써, 다양한 환경 안에서 사용되어지는 구체적인 적응행동기술을 평가하는데 사용될 수 있는 준거지향 검사도구의 신뢰도와 타당도의 검증에 있다. 국외에서 이미 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증받은 적응행동기술 검사도구인 CALS(Checklist of Adaptive Living Skills, Morreau & Bruininks, 1991)를 번안, 수정하여 검사도구로 사용하였다. 본 연구에서의 적응행동기술은 “개인생활기술,” “가정생활기술,” “지역사회 생활기술,” 그리고 “직업기술”과 같은 4개의 소규모 검사(대규모 영역)로 구성되어있다. 연구절차는 편의표집(convenience sampling)으로 선발한 생활연령이 3개월부터 18세 11개월까지인 876명의 발달장애 아동과 일반 아동을 대상으로 검사를 실시하였으며, 회수된 검사지 중 불성실하게 답한 검사지와 연령 환산을 잘못 기재한 검사지를 제외한 총 805부가 최종 분석대상이 되었다. 각각의 소검사의 문항에 대한 신뢰도를 분석하기위해 Cronbach 알파(alpha) 계수와 반분계수를 사용하여 검증하였으며, Pearson 상관계수를 통한 생활연령과 기술항목과의 상호 연관성을 입증해 구성타당도를, 사회성숙도 검사와의 상관을 통한 공인타당도를 검증하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine reliability and validity of criterion referenced assessment for adaptive behavior. In order to achieve the purpose of study, it was administered with 805 students including students with and without disabilities aged from 3 months through 18 years 11 months. The results of this study are as follows. First, according to the results of reliability test, Cronbach alpha coefficient in 794 items and full scale respectively revealed 0.88 through 0.98 for students without disabilities and 0.78 through 0.98 for students with developmental disabilities. Second, according to the results of validity test, correlation coefficients varied between 0.28 and 0.88, for students without disabilities. A strong positive correlation was found among chronological age, and K-CALS skills modules of personal living skills, home living skills, community living skills and employment skills. Correlation coefficients varied between 0.76 and 0.73, 0.70, and 0.78 averaging 0.74. Therefore, reliability and validity of criterion referenced assessment for adaptive behavior were proven to be valid and reliable to use as an adaptive behavior checklist for students with developmental disabilities.
