국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 2000년부터 2022년까지 국내에서 발표된 ADHD 아동 프로그램의 효과성을 체계적으로 고찰하고 종합적으로 평가하는 것이다. STATA 18 통계 패키지를 사용하여 112편의 논문에서 267개의 효과 크기를 추출하고, 다층메타분석을 통해 연구 결과에 영향을 미치는 예측 변인을 규명하였다. 주요 결과로는 고학년 아동 프로그램의 전체 효과와 주의력 결핍, 과잉행동, 충동성 감소 효과가 유의하지 않았으며, ADHD 비진단군이 진단군에 비해 효과 크기가 높게 나타났다. 통합과 부모 참여는 유의하지 않았고, 대상 수에 따른 전체 효과는 모든 집단에서 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 충동성 감소 효과는 16∼20명 및 21명 이상 집단에서 유의하였다. 총 회기 수에서는 11∼15회기와 16∼20회기에서 주의력 결핍과 과잉행동 감소 효과가 유의했으나, 충동성 감소는 유의하지 않았다. 회기 당 시간과 주 횟수는 유의하지 않았다. 시사점과 함의로는 고학년 ADHD 아동 프로그램이 발달 특성을 충분히 반영하지 못할 수 있음을 강조하며 맞춤형 개입의 필요성을 제시하였다. 프로그램 효과는 집단 크기, 중장기 개입, 내용 및 질, 아동 특성에 따라 달라지므로 이러한 요인을 종합적으로 고려한 설계가 중요하다고 결론지었다. ADHD 아동과 가족 지원체계 개선을 위해 법적 및 제도적 변화와 전문 인력의 지원이 요구된다는 점을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The study aims to systematically review and evaluate the effectiveness of ADHD children's programs published in Korea from 2000 to 2022. Using the STATA 18 statistical package, 267 effect sizes were extracted from 112 papers, and predictive variables influencing research outcomes were identified through multi-layered meta-analysis. The main findings indicate that the overall effects of high-grade children's programs on attention deficit, hyperactivity, and impulse reduction were not significant, with negative results prevalent among those not diagnosed with ADHD. Integration and parental participation also showed no significant effects, and the overall impact based on the number of subjects was not statistically significant across all groups. However, impulse reduction was significant in groups of 16-20 and 21 or more participants. Significant effects on reducing attention deficit and hyperactivity were observed in the 11th to 15th and 16th to 20th sessions, while impulse reduction was not significant. The duration and frequency of sessions did not yield significant results. The study highlights the need for customized interventions, suggesting that high-grade ADHD programs may not adequately reflect developmental characteristics. It concludes that program effectiveness depends on group size, mid- to long-term interventions, content quality, and child characteristics, emphasizing the importance of a comprehensive design. Legal and institutional changes, along with professional support, are recommended to enhance the support system for children with ADHD and their families.
