국문 초록

본 연구는 방과후 과정 운영에 대한 유아교사의 인식을 조사하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 충북지역 유아교사 184명이 참여하였으며 SPSS 프로그램을 통하여 기술통계 및 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였다. 첫째, 충북지역 유아교사의 방과후 과정 중 유아교사들은 교육과정과 연계된 방과후 활동을 가장 선호하였으며 교사들은 방과후 과정이 유아에게 다양한 교육 기회를 제공한다는 점을 높게 인식하였다. 교사들은 누리과정과 방과후 과정의 연계, 유아 흥미에 따른 지역 기반 자유놀이 지원, 또래와의 긍정적인 상호작용을 필요성으로 높게 인식하였다. 둘째, 충북지역 유아교사의 방과후 과정에 대한 개선방향을 살펴보면, 방과후 과정에 장시간 머무는 유아의 심리·정서적 안정 지원 강화를 가장 중요한 개선 과제로 하였으며, 유아방과후 과정 운영 시간 확대에 대해서는 낮은 인식을 보였다. 이상으로 바탕으로 충북지역 특성을 반영한 방과후 과정 운영에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate early childhood teachers' perceptions of after-school program operations. 184 early childhood teachers in the Chungbuk region participated, and descriptive statistics and reliability analysis were conducted using the SPSS program. Firstly, among the after-school programs in the Chungbuk region, early childhood teachers preferred after-school activities linked to the curriculum, and highly recognized that after-school programs provide various educational opportunities for children. Teachers highly recognized the need for linking the Nuri curriculum with after-school programs, supporting local-based free play according to children's interests, and positive interactions with peers. Secondly, regarding the improvement direction for after-school programs as perceived by early childhood teachers in the Chungbuk region, strengthening psychological and emotional stability support for children staying in after-school programs for extended periods was considered the most important improvement task, while there was low recognition of expanding after-school program operating hours. Based on the above, implications for operating after-school programs reflecting the characteristics of the Chungbuk region were derived.
