국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 한국 베일리 영유아발달검사 4판(K-Bayley-4)의 예비연구로 K-Bayley-4의 표준화에서 사용될 K-Bayley-4 적응행동척도를 한국 영유아 발달과 문화에 적절하게 개발하는 데 있다. 연구방법: Bayley-4의 적응행동척도를 번역하고 전문가의 내용타당도 검토와 사전조사(n = 68)를 통해 한국 영유아의 적응행동 측정에 적합하도록 문항을 수정⋅추가하여, 예비연구를 위한 K-Bayley-4의 적응행동척도를 개발하였다. 전국(서울⋅경기⋅충청⋅전라도⋅경상)의 생후 16일에서 42개월 사이의 영유아 257명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하여 신뢰도, 문항난이도, 타당도를 분석하여 적응행동척도의 예비연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과: Bayley-4의 적응행동척도의 Cronbach’s α는 .956-.981, 반분신뢰도는 .80-.87로 적절하였다. 문항난이도 분석 결과, K-Bayley-4 적응행동척도의 일부 문항을 수정⋅삭제하여 최종적으로 수용 26문항, 표현 33문항, 개인 33문항, 대인관계 21문항, 놀이/여가 21문항, 총 134문항으로 구성하였다. K-Bayley-4 적응행동척도의 모든 하위영역에서 성별, 모 학력, 지역에 따른 차이가 없었으며, K-Bayley-4 소검사와의 상관관계 분석 결과 수렴 및 변별타당도가 확인되었다. 결론: K-Bayley-4의 적응행동척도는 한국 영유아의 적응행동을 적절하게 평가할 수 있는 도구임을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

Objective: This study aimed to develop a K-Bayley-4 adaptive behavior scale suitable for application to Korean infant development and culture via the standardization of K-Bayley-4 through a preliminary study. Methods: The adaptive behavior scale of the Bayley-4 was translated, and the questions were revised to suit the measurement of the adaptive behavior of Korean infants through an expert content validity review and preliminary survey (n = 68), and the adaptive behavior scale of the K-Bayley-4 was then developed for preliminary research. Data were collected from 257 infants aged between 16-42 months nationwide (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Jeolla, and Gyeongsang), and a preliminary study of the adaptive behavior measures was conducted to determine the reliability, difficulty, and validity of questions. Results: Preliminary studies showed that the split-half reliability ranged from .80 to .87, and Cronbach’s α was between .956 to .981. As a result of the item analysis, some items of the K-Bayley-4 adaptive behavior scale were omitted, modified, or added, resulting in 26 receptive, 33 expression, 33 personal, 21 interpersonal relationships, and 21 play and leisure, totaling 134 questions. No differences were observed based on gender, academic background, or region. Correlation analysis of the K-Bayley-4 subtest showed convergence and discrimination validity. Conclusions: It can be seen that the adaptive behavior scale of K-Bayley-4 can appropriately evaluate the adaptive behavior of Korean infants and toddlers.
