국문 초록

목적 : 본 연구의 주요 목적은 노인의 소득 변화와 건강 관련 변수 간의 관계를 조사하여, 노인 복지 및 건강 관리에 대한 기초적인 자료를 마련하는 것이다. 연구방법 : 이 연구에서는 2022년 지역사회건강조사 자료를 활용하였으며, 65세 이상 노인을 대상으로 일원배치분산분석 및 피어슨의 상관관계분석을 통해 소득 변화와 건강 관련 변수 간의 관계를 확인하였다. 연구결과 : 연구 결과, 소득 변화가 노인의 건강 수준, 음주 습관, 신체 활동, 아침 식사 빈도, 구강 건강, 스트레스, 행복 지수와 밀접한 관련이 있음을 확인하였다. 소득이 증가하는 노인은 보편적으로 더 높은 건강 수준과 행복 지수를 보이며, 반면 소득이 감소하는 노인은 건강 수준과 행복 지수가 낮았다. 결론 : 노인 복지와 건강 관리를 위해 소득 수준은 중요한 역할을 한다. 이러한 결과는 정책 및 개별 소득수준이 노인들의 생활방식 및 건강 상태에 영향을 미친다는 것을 시사하며, 복지 정책 및 프로그램은 소득 측면에서 노인을 지원하는 것과 함께, 신체 활동, 스트레스 관리, 행복 지수 향상을 고려해야 한다.

영문 초록

Objective : The main objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between income changes among the elderly and various health-related variables to provide fundamental insights into elderly welfare and healthcare management. Methods : This study utilized data from the 2022 Community Health Survey of the Republic of Korea, focusing on individuals aged 65 and above. Analytical methods included one-way ANOVA and Pearson's correlation analysis to examine the associations between income changes and health-related variables. Results : The results revealed a significant relationship between income changes and several key health indicators among the elderly. It was observed that increasing income was associated with higher levels of overall health, lower stress, increased physical activity, improved oral health, greater happiness, and other positive health-related outcomes. In contrast, decreased income was linked to poorer health, higher stress levels, and lower overall well-being among elderly individuals. Conclusion : These findings emphasize the critical role of income levels in elderly welfare and healthcare management. Policy initiatives and programs aimed at supporting the elderly should consider income as a key factor, along with promoting physical activity, stress management, and overall happiness. These efforts can contribute to improving the quality of life and health outcomes among the elderly population.
