국문 초록

20세기 전반 한국의 항일투쟁에서 ‘암살’은 중요한 수단 중 하나였다. 특히 안중근, 이봉창, 윤봉길의 활동은 중국인에 강한 인상을 남겼다. 그들은 중국인의 마음에 지사로 자리 잡으며 한국 독립운동에 대한 인식에 큰 변화를 일으켰고, 1992년 한중수교 이래 한중 협력을 강조하는 공동 항일항쟁의 상징으로 여겨졌다. 하지만 20세기 전반 한중관계는 여러 차례의 질곡이 있었고, 중국의 한국 독립운동에 대한 인식도 시기에 따라 달랐다. 특히 ‘암살’이라는 ‘비합법적’인 방식을 바라보는 시선도 복잡했다. 중국의 국내외 정치 상황에 따라 인식차가 발생했다. 20세기 전반 복잡한 국내외 정세 변화 속에서 안중근, 이봉창, 윤봉길의 지사 형상이 형성되었으며, 1930년대 중국 항일전쟁에서 세 인물은 연결되어 언급되었고 韓人 지사의 형상을 상호 강화시켰다.

영문 초록

In the early decades of the 20th century, ‘assassination’ emerged as a pivotal tactic within Korea’s anti-Japanese resistance. The activities of figures such as Ahn Joong-geun, Lee Bong-chang, and Yun Bong-gil notably resonated with the Chinese populace, effectively reshaping perceptions of the Korean independence movement. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and China in 1992, these individuals have come to symbolize the spirit of collaborative anti- Japanese efforts. Nevertheless, the early 20th-century Sino-Korean relationship experienced various fluctuations, with China’s perception of the Korean independence movement shifting in accordance with prevailing circumstances. Particularly, the interpretation of the ‘unlawful’ method of ‘assassination’ was intricate, its appraisal subject to China’s domestic and international political dynamics. Amid the intricate geopolitical changes of the early 20th century, the shaping of these figures’ persona played an essential role, and during the 1930s, they became intertwined in the context of the Chinese anti-Japanese war, further strengthening the image of Korean heroes in the eyes of the Chinese.
