국문 초록

본 연구는 중년여성의 다양한 변인에 따라 직업 불안과 삶의 만족도, 성취 만족도의 차이를 살펴보고, 직업 불안과 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 성취 만족도의 매개효과를 살펴보고자 통계청의 ‘2019 사회조사’와 ‘2021 사회조사’의 원자료를 연구 대상으로 하고 이를 분석하였다. 주요한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 40대는 50대보다 직업 불안, 성취 만족도, 삶의 만족도를 높게 느끼고, 직업 불안을 지각하지 않는 집단은 성취 만족도와 삶의 만족도를 높게 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중년여성의 연령대와 교육 수준에 따라 직업 불안의 상호작용 효과가 나타났으며, 40대와 고졸 이하인 경우 직업 불안을 높게 느끼는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 한국 중년여성의 성취 만족도는 직업 불안과 삶의 만족도 간의 관계에서 부분 매개효과가 나타났다. 본 연구는 한국 중년여성의 직업 불안과 삶의 만족도와의 관계에서 성취 만족도의 부분 매개효과를 확인하였으며, 이를 통하여 실질적으로 도움을 줄 수 있는 교육과 상담에 필요한 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에 의의가 있다. 마지막으로 한계점과 후속 연구의 필요성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the differences in job anxiety, life satisfaction, and achievement satisfaction among middle-aged women according to various variables, and analyzed the mediating effect of achievement satisfaction on the relationship between job anxiety and life satisfaction using the original data of the 2019 Social Survey and the 2021 Social Survey from Statistics Korea. The main findings are as follows First, those in their 40s reported higher levels of job anxiety, achievement satisfaction, and life satisfaction than those in their 50s, while those who did not perceive job anxiety reported higher levels of achievement satisfaction and life satisfaction. Second, there was an interaction effect of job anxiety with age and education among middle-aged women, with those in their 40s and those with a high school diploma or less reporting higher levels. Finally, achievement satisfaction had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between job anxiety and life satisfaction among Korean middle-aged women. The significance of this study is that it confirmed the partial mediating effect of achievement satisfaction on the relationship between job anxiety and life satisfaction among Korean middle-aged women, and provided basic data for education and counseling that can help them in practice. Finally, limitations and the need for further research are presented.
