국문 초록

학습문제를 가진 학생의 약점 교정을 위해 등장한 중재반응모형(RTI)은 그 적용 범위가 확장되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 RTI를 영재 교육과정 운영에 적용 가능한지에 대해 탐색하였다. 본 연구에 따르면, RTI의 기본 원리인 보편적 선별, 팀 중심 접근, 진전도 점검, 조기 판별 및 중재, 다단계 중재 시스템 등은 학생의 영재성 및 재능 발달을 위한 교육과정 운영에 적용할 수 있다. 또한 영재 교육과정의 주요 모형(SEM, ICM, LoS, ALM)과 RTI는 통합하여 활용이 가능하며, RTI의 단계적 중재에 따라 영재 교육과정을 설계하고 운영할 수 있다. 영재교육에서 RTI를 효과적으로 활용하기 위해서는 교사의 전문성이 필요할 뿐만 아니라, 운영의 효과를 검증할 수 있는 실증적 연구가 수행되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The Response to Intervention Model (RTI), which appeared to correct the weaknesses of students with learning problems, is expanding its scope of application. In this study, I explored whether RTI can be applied to the implication of the gifted and talented curriculum. According to this study, the basic principles of RTI, such as universal screening, team-oriented approach, progress monitoring, early identification and intervention, and multi-tiered intervention system, can be applied to the operation of a curriculum for the development of giftedness and talent. In addition, the main models of the gifted and talented curriculum (SEM, ICM, LoS, ALM) and RTI can be integrated and used. The gifted and talented curriculum can be designed and implemented according to the intervention stages of RTI. At this time, the stage consists of three stages, and activities for enhancing students' strengths are differentiated for each stage. In order to effectively utilize RTI in gifted education, not only teacher expertise is required, but also empirical research to verify the effectiveness of the operation must be conducted.
