전환기 다문화청소년의 국가정체성 잠재프로파일 전이양상과 영향요인 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 전환기에 놓인 다문화청소년의 국가정체성에 따른 잠재프로파일 유형을 분류하고, 시간 변화에 따른 전이양상과 영향요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 다문화청소년패널자료 중 6차년도(중3)와 7차년도(고1)에 응답한 청소년 1,329명, 그들의 어머니 1,301명의 자료를 활용하였다. 자료 분석은 잠재전이분석과 다항로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화청소년의 국가정체성 잠재프로파일은 중학교 3학년 시점과 고등학교 1학년 시점에 모두 3개의 잠재프로파일 유형이 가장 적절한 것으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 국가정체성 잠재프로파일의 전이양상을 살펴본 결과, 동일한 집단으로 유지되는 비율이 높았다. 반면, 집단이 이동하는 경우 ‘높은 수준 집단’에서 ‘중간 수준 집단’으로 이동하는 비율이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 영향요인의 분석 결과, 중학교 3학년 시점과 고등학교 1학년 시점의 국가정체성 잠재프로파일에 영향을 미치는 요인을 살펴본 결과, 개인요인으로는 신체만족도, 자아존중감, 학교요인으로는 교사의 지지, 성취동기로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 중학교와 고등학교의 전이과정에 영향을 미치는 요인은 신체만족도, 자아존중감, 성취동기로 나타났다. 본 연구는 전환기 다문화청소년의 국가정체성 전이양상을 파악했다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 이를 통해 후속연구에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to classify latent profiles of multicultural adolescents' national identity, and to explore transition patterns of the latent profiles and their influential factors. Data were collected from 1,329 multicultural students who had participated in the MAPS (the 6th and 7th years). Data were analyzed by means of latent transition analysis using Mplus 8.0. The results of this study were as follows. First, the patterns of the national identity at the two points were classified into three subtypes (i.e., low level, middle level, and high level). Second, the three latent profile patterns of national identity were found to be transferred to were maintained the same patterns, but the ‘high level’ patterns was likely to be transferred to the ‘middle level’ patterns. There were significant influential factors of the transition. In particular, body satisfaction, self-esteem, teachers' support, achievement motivation, body satisfaction, self-esteem, and achievement motivation were seen as being significant determinants in predicting the transition. The study showed significant influential factors of latent profiles of multicultural adolescents' national identity and the transition patterns of the latent profiles, and discussed suggestions and implications for future studies.
