국문 초록

인간의 삶과 실존은 시간과 밀접하게 관련된다. 본 연구에서는 지역사회복지관에 종사하는 육아기 맞벌이 여성 사회복지사의 시간체험에 관한 본질적 의미를 이해하고자 질적 탐구를 수행했다. 자료수집을 위해 총 5명의 여성 사회복지사와 심층면담을 실시하였고, 이를 Colaizzi(1978)가 제안한 체험적 현상학적 질적 연구방법에 따라 체계적으로 분석했다. 연구결과, 연구참여자들의 시간체험의 의미가 16개의 현상학적 주제, 4개의 범주 및 중심주제와 함께 생생하게 밝혀졌다. 그중 중심주제는 ‘여성에 치우쳐진 역할 허둥거리며 혼신의 힘으로 돌리는 집과 복지관의 쳇바퀴 시간’과 같았다. 끝으로, 지역사회복지관에 종사하는 육아기 맞벌이 여성 사회복지사의 행복 증진과 삶의 질 향상 차원에서 제언했다.

영문 초록

Human life and existence are closely related to time. This study conducted a qualitative exploration of the essential meaning of the time experiences of female social workers from dual-income families, working in community welfare centers, during the childcare period. Data were collected using in-depth interviews with five female workers, and systematically analyzed according to the empirical-phenomenological qualitative research method proposed by Colaizzi (1978). The results revealed that the meanings of the study participants’ time experiences could be distinguished into four categories and one main topic that included 16 phenomenological sub-topics. In particular, the main topic was “a time of a treadmill of home and welfare rolling with all one’s soul and might, struggling with the role leaned toward women.” Lastly, this study offered suggestions for promoting happiness and improving the quality of life of the aforementioned female social workers.
