국문 초록

본 연구는 원가정 해체 후 부모와 분리되어 조부모와 생활하고 있는 아동에 대한 일련의 실천과정을 사회복지적 관점에서 접근한 연구이다. 연구 방법으로는, 연구자 자신이 주체가 되어 실천과정을 스스로 탐구해가는 과정 지향적 탐구 패러다임인 실행연구(action research) 방법론에 기반을 두었으며, Kemmis와 McTaggart(2000)이 제시한 나선형의 자기반성적 순환모형인 ‘계획-실행-관찰-반성’의 반복으로 진행하였다. 연구참여자는 위탁보호 체계로 진입한 8세의 아동과 그 가족이고, 연구의 실행기간은 2019년 8월부터 2020년 12월까지이다. 자료수집 및 분석을 위해 연구자의 실천과정을 최대한 구체적인 활동일지로 기록하고, 아동과 친부, 위탁부모를 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였으며, 기관 내외부 전문가들과 사례회의를 통해 개입의 방향을 점검하고 수정하였다. 결론에서는 실천과정에서 도출된 시사점 중 친부모와의 관계 상실에 대해 아동 권리의 측면에서 친부모 당사자, 위탁부모, 그리고 아동의 관점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study explored from the perspective of social welfare a series of action processes to alleviate the perception of parental abandonment in child living with their grandparents due to the dissolution of their family of origin. The method used in this study was based on the action research methodology, a process-oriented inquiry paradigm where the researcher becomes the subject, explores the action process, and proceeds with a repetition of plan-execution-observation-reflection, a spiral self-reflection circular model proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart(2000). The participants in this study were 8-year-old child that had entered the foster care system and his family. This study was conducted from August 2019 to December 2020. For data collection and analysis, the action processes of the researcher were recorded as detailed entries in an activity journal. Interviews were conducted with the child under study along with his biological father and foster parents. The interventions were reviewed and revised through case meetings with experts both inside and outside the organization. In the conclusion, the perception of parental abandonment were discussed from the perspectives of the foster child as well as their biological and foster parents in terms of child rights.
