국문 초록

본 연구는 경기도 P지역 초등학교 진로교육 현황을 살펴보고, 문제점을 진단하고 발전방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 진로업무 담당교사 10명을 대상으로 3차례 걸친 심층면접을 실시하였다. 제1차 심층면접 조사결과를 중심으로, 교사, 관계, 학부모로 유목화하여 제2차, 제3차 심층면접을 실시하였다. 심층면접 최종 결과 첫째, 교사중심은 진로전담교사의 전문화 및 학습공동체 구성, 진로수업시수확보, 연수강화이다. 둘째, 관계중심은 초, 중, 고등학교 연계 진로교사와 네트워크 구축, 지역사회 및 지역 진로체험지원센터와의 연계이다. 셋째, 학부모 중심은 학부모의 연수강화이다. 심층면접결과에 따른 문제점 해결 및 발전방안으로는 초등의 1인 1교 진로전담교사배치 및 수업 시수 확보, 교사의 전문성 확보를 위한 연수의 강화, 초등진로전담교사의 정보 및 전문성 강화를 위한 초, 중, 고등학교 진로교사 연계 구축, 초등학생들의 진로체험을 위한 진로체험처 발굴 및 지역사회와의 연계이다. 또한 학교 진로교육의 영향력을 높이기 위하여 학부모 진로연수강화이며, 학부모의 연수 참여율을 높이기 위하여 연수 시간을 일과 후 또는 주말로 이루어지게 하고, 더 나아가 연수내용을 학교 홈페이지에 탑재하여 학부모에게 진로연수에 대한 내용이 많이 노출되게 할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find the current state of career education in elementary school in the region P of Gyeonggi-do, to find problems and to suggest development plans. To achieve that, this researcher conducted in-depth interviews with ten career teachers three times. As the result of the 1st in-depth interview survey, categories of teacher, relationship, and parent were established, and in-depth interviews were conducted. According to the in-depth interviews, firstly, the category of teacher included professionalism, composition of learning community, securing career class hours, and training enhancement; secondly, the category of relationship included the establishment of networks of career teachers in association with elementary, middle, and high schools, and the connection between communities and regional career experience support centers; thirdly, the category of parent included training enhancement of parents. Based on the results of the in-depth interviews, the development plans for solving the problems are to assign one classroom to one career teacher and secure class hours, to enhance the training for teachers’ professionalism, to establish the network of career teachers in elementary, middle, and high schools for enhancing the information and professionalism that career teachers in elementary school have, and to find career experience places and connect with communications for elementary school students’ career experience. In addition, it is necessary to enhance parents’ career training in order to increase the influence of career education in school, to put parents’ training time after work or on weekends in order to increase their participation in a training program, and to post the content of a training program at the website of school in order to get more information on career training exposed to parents.
