한국방과후학교 학술지 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2012년 한국방과후학교학회 창립 이후부터 2021년 추계 학술대회에 이르기까지 한국방과후학교학회 학술대회 논문의 연구 동향을 분석하여 방과후학교의 발전을 위한 대안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국방과후학교학회 학술대회 자료집 논문 102편과 일반 학회지의 방과후학교 관련 논문 10편을 비교적 관점에서 연구 동향 분석을 하였다. 연구 주제를 8개로 유목화한 틀과 이를 바탕으로 연구 방법을 유목화한 것이 분류 기준이었는데, 한국방과후학교학회 학술대회 102편의 논문 분석 결과 가장 많이 발표된 연구 주제는 ‘방과후학교 정책+현황+발전 방향’이었으며, 연구 방법으로는 문헌/이론 연구가 가장 많았다. 3가지 연구 방법 중 문헌/이론 연구에서 가장 비중이 높았던 연구 주제는 ‘방과후학교 정책+현황+발전 방향’이었으며, 양적 연구와 질적 연구에서는 ‘방과후학교 질+프로그램의 질+교사교육+강사역량’의 비중이 가장 높았다. 일반 학회지에 게재된 10편의 논문 분석 결과, 연구 주제면에서는 ‘방과후학교 질+프로그램의 질+교사교육+강사역량’ 관련 논문이 가장 많았고, 연구 방법면에서는 양적 연구가 가장 많이 활용되었다. 일반 학회지 논문 분석에서 얻은 시사점은 다양한 연구 주제 및 연구 방법의 필요성과 심도 있는 양적 연구의 필요성 등이다. 향후, 한국방과후학교학회 학술논문의 질 향상과 현장 활용성 강화를 위해 연구 분야와 연구 방법의 다변화가 요구되며, 방과후학교 프로그램과 강사의 질 개선에 대한 방향성 및 마을을 포함한 지역사회와의 연계‧협력 적정화 방안을 제시해 줄 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to provide an alternative for an advancement of the after-school programs by analyzing the research trend of Proceedings of the Korean After-School Study Association Conference from the establishment of the Korean After-School Study Association in 2012 to the 2021 Fall Conference. To this end, based on 102 papers in the Proceedings of the Korean After-School Study Association Conference and 10 papers related to the after-school program in other academic journals, the research trend was analyzed from a comparative view. As for the classification criteria, the research subject was classified into 8 categories, and the research method was classified based thereon. Upon analysis of the above-mentioned 102 papers, the most published research subject was “policy for after-school programs + current status + development direction,” and the most used research method was a “literature/theory” research. In the literature/theory research, “policy for after-school programs + current status + development direction” account for the highest proportion of the research subject. In the quantitative research and qualitative research, “quality of after-school programs + quality of programs + teacher education + instructor’s capability” account for the highest proportion of the research subject. Upon analysis of the above-mentioned 10 papers, the most published research subject was “quality of after-school programs + quality of programs + teacher education + instructor’s capacity,” and the most used research method was the quantitative research. In terms of implications obtained from the analysis of other academic journals, various research subjects and methods and intensive quality searches are required. In order to increase the quality and utilization of the Proceedings of the Korean After-School Study Association Conference in the future, it is required to diversify the research field and the research method. It is also necessary to present directivity for improvement of the quality of the after-school programs and instructors and an optimized cooperative plan in connection with the local community, including towns.
