한국방과후학교학회 10년간 학술지 연구 동향과 추이 분석

국문 초록

‘방과후학교연구’는 창간 1권 1호 이후 2022년 2월 9권 1호까지 93명의 연구자가 60편의 논문을 발표하였고, 그 우수성을 인정받아 2021년 10월에 KCI 등재후보지로 선정되었다. 본 연구는 한국방과후학교학회 창립 10주년을 맞이하여 2012년부터 2022년 2월까지 ‘방과후학교연구’ 학술지의 연구 동향과 추이를 분석하여 방과후학교의 발전방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 연구자는 ‘방과후학교연구’ 학술지에 게재된 논문 60편의 연구동향을 분석하였다. ‘방과후학교연구’의 논문들을 분석한 결과 주요 연구주제는 ‘방과후학교의 발전방향’, ‘방과후학교 모형’, ‘지역사회 참여 방과후학교’, ‘초등돌봄교실’, ‘외국의 방과후학교’, ‘어린이집, 유치원, 특수학교 대학의 방과 후 활동’, ‘COVID-19 이후의 방과후학교’, ‘방과후학교 실태 조사’ 등 8개로 분류되었다. 가장 많이 발표된 연구주제는 ’지역사회 참여 방과후학교’ 다음으로 ‘초등돌봄교실’관련 논문이 가장 많았다. 연구방법은 문헌연구가 가장 많았다. 향후, ‘방과후학교연구’의 발전과 현장성 강화를 위해 연구방법과 연구분야의 다양화와 많은 연구자의 참여가 요구되고, 방과후학교의 질 제고를 위해 지역사회와 연계·협력 방안 등의 시사점을 던져주고 있다.

영문 초록

Since its foundation from the first volume, No.1, to the 9th issue in February 2022, The Journal of After-School Research has published 60 academic papers by 93 researchers. It was listed in candidate KCI journals in October 2021 in recognition of its excellence. The purpose of this study is to identify the direction of after-school programs by analyzing the research trends in The Journal of After-School Research from 2012 to February 2022, in celebration of its 10th anniversary for The Korean After-School Study Association. The research trends of 60 papers published in The Journal of After-School Research were analyzed for this purpose. The results of this study are as follows. The research subjects were classified into eight categories: “After-school Development Direction,” “After-school Model,” “After-school with Local Community Participation,” “Elementary Child Care,” “Overseas After-school,” “After-school at Childcare Centers, Kindergartens, and Special Schools,” “After-school after COVID-19,” and “After-school Survey.” The most frequently published topic was “After-school with Local Community Participation” followed by “Elementary Child Care.” Literature research was the most common method. This study suggests that researchers should investigate various fields using different methods to strengthen practicality. Furthermore, this study highlights the importance of cooperating with local communities to improve the quality of after-school programs.
