국문 초록

본 연구는 교육대학원 온라인 원격수업에서 이루어진 유아교사의 프로젝트 활동 경험의 의미와 배움을 심층적으로 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 K대학교 교육대학원 석사과정에 재학 중인 유아교사 13명이 14주 동안 ZOOM을 활용한 실시간 온라인 원격수업에 참여하여 모둠별로 결혼, 뉴노멀, 바깥놀이를 주제로 프로젝트 활동을 진행하였다. 그 과정에서 연구참여자의 프로젝트 전 과정이 담긴 포트폴리오, 반성적 자기 평가 저널 등을 수집하여 질적 연구의 분석 과정을 거쳐 분석하였다. 연구결과, 유아교사들은 교육대학원 온라인 원격수업에서 프로젝트에 주도적으로 참여하고 능동적으로 이끌어나가는 수업의 주체자로서의 모습을 보였으며, 온라인으로 프로젝트를 진행하는 과정에서 오는 어려움을 조원들과 함께 상호작용하며 극복하고, 주제를 깊이 있게 탐구하고 성찰하면서 성취감과 행복을 느끼며 공동체성을 확립하였다. 이는 유아․놀이중심 교육을 몸소 체험하는 기회가 되어 역량과 전문성을 갖춘 교사로서 성장하게 하는 기반이 되었다. 이러한 맥락에서 현직교사교육 온라인 원격수업에서의 프로젝트 활동은 효과적이고 영향력 있는 교사교육 방안이라 사료된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide an in-depth analysis of the meaning of early childhood teachers’ experiences, as well as their learning, of their project activity conducted via online distance classes at the graduate school of education. For this purpose, the experiences of 13 early childhood teachers who are currently in master’s program at K university graduate school were examined as they took part in project activities through real-time online distance classes via Zoom for 14 weeks. In the process, the necessary data, including the portfolios containing the entire project course of the participants and the reflective self evaluation journals, were collected and analyzed through a qualitative research analysis process. The results of the study are as follows. The early childhood teachers showed eagerness and activeness, taking the leading role as they participated in the project activity in online distance classes provided by the graduated school of education. They were effectively able to overcome the difficulties and limitations of an online project through interactions with their teammates, finding accomplishments and satisfaction from a comprehensive study of the theme, establishing a sense of community. Through this project the teachers were able to experience child/play-centered education, allowing them to grow into a teacher with competence and expertise. In this sense, the project activity in online distance classes for present teachers can be considered an effective and influential teaching method for teachers.
