국문 초록

본 논문은 대만 정치의 양극화 현상을 살펴보고, 대만 신문의 정파적 입장이 신문 사설에서 어떻게 드러나고 있는가를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이 목적을 위해 먼저, 대만 정치가 역사 배경, 민족정체성, 통독 지향성의 차이로 인해, 국민당 중심의 남영과 민진당 중심의 녹영으로 양극화된 현상을 살펴보았다. 다음으로 남영 입장의 중국시보와 녹영을 대표로 하는 자유시보의 2021년도 사설을 코로나 팬데믹 관련 6개의 평가어를 기준으로 정량적·정성적 분석을 했다. 분석 결과 중국시보는 코로나 팬데믹 관련 사설에서 대중의 불안감 강조, 방역 정책의 무능과 실패를 강조하는 차이잉원 정부에 대한 부정적 견해를 감정평가에 의존하는 주관적 기술을 주로 하고 있다. 자유시보는 방역 성과를 긍정적으로 평가하고, 미일과의 협력, 중국에 대한 불신, 친중세력에 대한 경고 등을 ‘공간확대’와 같은 ‘개입’요소를 통해 객관적인 접근을 하지만, 세부 내용은 반중 입장에 맞춰 역시 주관적 기술을 하는 것으로 볼 수있다. 대만 신문의 양극화는 대만 정치의 남녹 양극화 현상을 대변하고 있다.

영문 초록

A Study on the Political Polarization of Taiwanese Newspapers. The purpose of this paper is to examine the polarization of Taiwanese politics and to examine how the political position of Taiwanese newspapers is revealed in newspaper editorials. For this purpose, first of all, due to the difference in historical background, national identity, and unification/independence issue, Taiwanese politics was polarized into a Pan blue group centered on the Kuomintang and a Pan-green group centered on the Democratic Progressive Party. Next, a quantitative and qualitative analysis was conducted based on six evaluation words related to the COVID-19 pandemic in the 2021 editorial of 《Liberty Times》and 《China Times》. As a result of the analysis, the 《China Times》 mainly focuses on subjective technologies that rely on appraisal of the negative views of the Chai Ying Wen government, which emphasizes public anxiety and incompetence and failure of quarantine policies. 《Liberty Times》 positively evaluates quarantine performance and takes an objective approach to cooperation with the U.S. and Japan, distrust toward China, and warnings against pro-China forces through intervention factors such as space expansion, but details can also be seen as subjective description in accordance with the anti-China position. The polarization of Taiwanese newspapers represents the blue-green polarization of Taiwanese politics. 本論文的目的是觀察臺灣政治的兩極化現象，觀察臺灣報紙的政派立場在報紙社論中如何表現出來。 爲了實現這個目的,首先,我觀察了臺灣政治因歷史背景、民族認同性、統一指向性的差異,以國民黨爲中心的藍營和以民進黨爲中心的綠營兩極分化現象。 其次,以藍營立場的《中國時報》和以代表綠營的《自由時報》2021年度社論中與新冠肺炎疫情相關的6個評價語爲標準,進行了定量、定性分析。分析結果顯示,《中國時報》在有關新冠肺炎疫情的社論中,主要使用依靠情緒性評價的主觀性記述,對強調大衆的不安感、強調防疫政策無能和失敗的蔡英文政府的否定意見。《自由時報》積極評價防疫成果，通過與美日合作、對中國的不信任、對親中勢力的警告等以擴大空間為介入因素客觀地接近防疫成果，但具體內容可以看作是符合‘反中’立場的主觀性記述。臺灣報紙的兩極化報道表現出來了臺灣政治的藍綠兩極化現象。
