수업시연 경험을 통해 본 예비유아교사들의‘유아교사 되어가기’

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사들이 수업시연 과정에서 어떠한 경험과 변화 속에서 ‘유아교사’로 성장하는지 ‘되어감(becoming)’의 관점으로 들여다봄으로써 교사교육의 시사점을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이 같은 연구목적을 위해 K대학 아동학부에 재학 중이며 ‘교과교육론’을 수강하는 3-4학년 7명의 예비유아교사를 연구참여자로 하여 그들이 쓴 반성적 저널과 메일, 소모임 대화 전사본 그리고 연구자 저널을 자료로 분석하였다. 그 결과 예비유아교사들은 ‘수업’의 사태를 마주하고 불안 속에서 자신을 직면하며 홀로서고 있었으며, ‘좋은 교사’와 ‘좋은 수업’에 대한 강한 욕망을 안고 반성적 성찰을 통해 진정한 욕망의 주체로 나아가고 있었다. 또한 연구 과정에서 참여자들은 성찰 속에서 나를 둘러싼 언어에 의문을 품고 진정한 ‘나의 언어’를 구성하며 참된 ‘나’됨과 ‘교사’됨을 형성하고 있었다. 아울러 참여자들은 지도교수 및 동료와의 대화적 만남 속에서 유아교사로 살아갈 ‘나’를 만들어가고, ‘나-우리’의 관계 속에서 진정한 유아교사로 함께 성장하고 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the implications of teacher education by looking into the experience of students of early childhood education through practices and changes and process of ‘becoming’ an early childhood teacher. For the purpose of this research, seven pre-service teachers in their 3rd and 4th year at K-University were analyzed. The information analyzed was collected from reflective journals, e-mails, meeting transcripts, and researchers’ journals entries. Upon encountering a classroom situation, the pre-service early childhood teachers and displayed some anxiety, and expressed a strong desire to be ‘good teachers, and to have good classes’, I was moving toward the subject of true desire through reflection. In the course of the research, the participants were creating a true ‘my dialogue’, questioning the language surrounding me in reflection. In addition, the participants commitments a ‘I’ to begin careers as early childhood teachers during a conversation with their advisors and colleagues, and they have progressed together as true early childhood teachers in the relationship of ‘I and Us’.
