국문 초록

본 연구는 한국과 미국의 유아교육 교육현장 사례를 교육과정과 운영의 비교문화적 측면에서 탐색적으로 비교 분석하였다. 이를 위해 한국의 경우 B시에 위치한 A유치원과 Y어린이집을 대상으로 하였고, 미국의 경우 미주리주에 위치한 W시의 L유치원(Kindergarten)과 K유아원(Preschool)을 대상으로 하였다. 대상 기관의 교육과정계획 문서, 활동자료, 부모와 교사 사이의 소통관련 문서, 행사관련 문서 및 사진 수집 등을 통해 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 한국과 미국의 유아교육 교육현장 교육과정의 측면에서는 첫째, 교육활동의 초점이 이벤트와 생활의 사이에 있는 것으로 나타났고, 둘째 교육방법의 그릇은 놀이와 기초학습의 사이로 나타났다. 한국과 미국의 유아교육 교육현장 운영의 측면에서는 첫째로 유아교육기관의 선택이 다양성과 유용성의 사이에 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째로 부모라는 자리는 권리와 책임의 사이로 분석되었고, 셋째로 스쿨버스의 길에 있어서는 안전성과 편리성의 사이에서 운영 현상이 나타나고 있었다.

영문 초록

In this study, an analysis of early childhood education sites in Korea and the U.S. was conducted through exploratory comparisons focusing on the content, methods, systems and systems (including operating systems). In Korea, the analysis included A kindergarten and Y childcare center located in B city. Accordingly, education course plan documents, activity data, documened communication between parents and teachers, event-related documents, and photographs of the institutions were collected. Results of the analysis showed that the focus of educational activities involved. First, events and life. life in terms of early childhood education courses at education sites in Korea and the U.S. Second, educational methods for play and basic learning were different. In Korea and the U.S. the choice of an early childhood education institution was based diversity or usefulness. Additionally, parental position was analyzed by comparing rights and responsibilities. Finally, the phenomenon of operation in terms of the safety and convenience of the school bus route was significant.
