명화감상 미술치료 프로그램 동향에 관한 내용분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 명화감상 미술치료 프로그램의 선행연구 분석을 통해 연구동향은 물론 명화선정, 명화감상 방법, 명화활용 방법 등을 파악한다. 그럼으로써 명화감상 미술치료의 주요 개념 및 방법을 강구하고 명화감상 미술치료 프로그램을 발전시키는 것을 목적으로 한다. 2003년부터 2021년까지 국내에 발표된 명화감상 미술치료 프로그램 30편의 선행연구를 기본영역과 명화영역으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 분석 영역을 기본영역과 명화영역으로 구분하였다. 기본영역에서는 발행연도와 발행처, 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구주제, 프로그램 운영, 프로그램 매 회기 진행단계를 살펴보았고, 명화영역에서는 미술치료 프로그램에 명화감상을 활용하는 목적, 명화감상 방법, 명화선정 기준, 명화활용 방법, 명화편수, 목표별 명화 등을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 발행분포의 경우 2003년을 시작으로 2021년까지 보았는데 소수였으며, 발행처(전공)는 미술치료학과가 가장 많았다. 다양한 연령대를 대상으로 연구가 진행되었고 연구방법 또한 고른 분포로 활용되고 있었으며 연구주제는 정서 관련 연구가 많았다. 매 회기 프로그램 진행단계의 과정은 대부분 명화를 감상하고 미술 표현활동을 한 후 집단원들과 이야기를 나누는 순서로 이루어졌다. 미술치료에 명화감상을 활용하는 목적은 명화에 대한 감정이입으로 다양한 정서를 느끼고 미술표현을 촉진하기 위한 방법으로 사용하고 있었다. 명화감상 방법은 인지와 정서를 포함한 다양한 방법이 사용되고 있었다. 명화 선정기준은 연구자가 주관적 관점으로 명화를 선정한 후 연구대상의 발달단계, 수준을 고려하여 미술치료 프로그램과의 연결이 용이한 작품으로 활용하였고 명화를 활용하여 표현활동을 한 연구는 5편에 불과했다. 이는 대부분의 연구에서 감상한 명화와 표현활동을 연결시키지 못하고 있음을 시사한다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 명화선정에 객관적 기준 및 검증의 필요성, 명화감상이 갖는 치료적 효과를 입증하는 연구의 필요성, 내담자별로 다양한 감상방법과 구체적인 감상절차를 마련해야 할 필요성 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop an art therapy program using appreciation of famous paintings by analyzing trends, selection of famous paintings, how to appreciate famous paintings, and methods of using famous paintings through prior research on art therapy programs using appreciation of famous paintings. The preceding studies of 31 art therapy programs through appreciation of famous paintings published in Korea from 2003 to 2021 were analyzed by dividing them into the basic area and famous paintings area. In the basic area, the year of publication, publisher, research subject, research method, research topic, program operation, and progress stage of each session of the program were examined, and in the area of ​​famous paintings, the purpose of using appreciation of famous paintings for art therapy programs, how to appreciate famous paintings, criteria for selection of famous paintings, methods of using famous paintings, number of famous paintings, famous paintings by goal, etc. were examined. As a result of the research, the distribution of publication was announced in a small number from 2003 to 2021, with the largest number of publishers in the art therapy department. Research was conducted on a variety of age groups, and research methods were also being used as an even distribution, and there were many affect-related research subjects. The process of each session s program was mostly proceeded in the order of appreciating famous paintings, performing art expression activities, and then talking with group members. The purpose of using appreciation of famous paintings in art therapy was used as a way to feel various emotions through empathy for famous paintings and to promote art expression, and various methods including cognition and emotion were used for appreciation of famous paintings. As for the selection criteria for famous paintings, the researchers selected famous paintings from a subjective point of view and used them as works that could be easily connected to the art therapy program in consideration of the developmental stage and level of the research subjects. In addition, as there were only 5 studies that used famous paintings for expression activities, it was found that most studies were not able to connect the famous paintings appreciated with expression activities. Based on these results, it was suggested that objective criteria and verification are necessary for the selection of famous paintings, and that research to prove the therapeutic effect of appreciation of famous paintings and the preparation of various appreciation methods and specific appreciation procedures for each counselee are required.
