국문 초록

본 연구는 귀농한 유‧아동기 자녀를 둔 부모의 경험을 통해 마을공동체 내에서 행위주체자로서의 부모됨의 의미를 탐색하여 아이가 성장해 나가는 삶의 터전과 공동체에 대해 자녀를 양육하는 부모로서 지향해야 할 삶과 양육의 가치에 대한 시사점을 얻는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 귀농한 유‧아동기 자녀를 둔 학부모 두 쌍을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였고 분석적 귀납법을 이용하여 주제별 기술적 분석(thematic descriptive analysis)을 하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, ‘마을공동체와 함께 자녀 양육하기’, 둘째, ‘농촌교육에서 주체적 역할 담당하기’, 셋째, ‘자연에서의 육아 예술 향유하기’로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로, 농촌의 공동체 문화 속에서 마을에 소속되기 위한 부모의 중재자로서의 역할과 상호 협력적 관계에 대한 성찰, 농촌의 인구절벽 문제와 맞물린 교육 현실에서 적극적 역할을 수행하기 위한 부모의 준비, 자연과 자녀 사이에서의 적절한 부모 역할을 찾기 위한 미적교육의 중요성 등을 논의하였다. 이를 통해 농촌의 마을공동체 문화에서 자녀 양육 및 교육의 행위주체자로서의 부모 역할과 의미를 살펴봄으로써 부모와 자녀가 희망하는 교육공동체 구현을 위한 하나의 방향성을 제안하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the meaning of being a parent as an agent in the village community through the experiences of parents who have young children and returned to farming, and to obtain implications for the value of life and nurturing that should be pursued as a parent. To do this, an in-depth interview was conducted with two pairs of parents with young children who returned to Mungyeong and Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and thematic analysis was conducted using an analytical induction method. As a result of the analysis, it was organized into the following three categories. First, raising as a child of the village community’, Second, ‘to play a subjective role in education’ consisting of subcategories such as ‘to stand as the subject in rural life’ and ‘to respond to educational difficulties’, Third, enjoy parenting art in nature composed of subcategories such as enjoying the power from nature and finding the role of parents between nature and children . Focusing on these results, the role and meaning of parents as an agent in child rearing and education were discussed through a new perspective and vision about the home of parents and children in the village community, and the direction of education was proposed to build an educational community that parents wish for their children s education
