국문 초록

본 연구는 부모-아동 상호작용이 아동의 집행기능 곤란을 통해 아동의 학업수행에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로하였다. 한국아동패널 자료 중 8차년도(2015년, 초1), 9차년도(2016년, 초2), 10차년도(2017년, 초3) 자료를 활용하였다. 본 연구의분석대상은 부모-아동 상호작용, 아동의 집행기능 곤란, 아동의 학업수행 변인에 모두 응답한 559명의 아동과 가정이다. 자료는구조방정식모형을 통해 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니-아동 상호작용과 아버지-아동 상호작용은 아동의학업수행에 유의한 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않았다. 둘째, 어머니-아동 상호작용은 아동의 집행기능 곤란을 통해 아동의 학업수행에 유의하게 정적인 간접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구의 결과는 아동의 학업수행에 어머니-아동 상호작용과 아동의 집행기능곤란이 중요함을 밝혔다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of parent-child interactions on children’s academic performance focusingon the mediating effect of children’s executive function difficulty. The data for this study were drawn from the Panel Studyon Korean Children(PSKC). The participants were 559 children of elementary school and their families from 8th wave(1st graders),9th wave(2nd graders), and 10th wave(3rd graders) of PSKC. The data were analyzed with structural equation modeling. Theresults of this study were as follows. First, mother-child interaction and father-child interaction didn’t have a significant directeffect on children’s academic performance. Second, mother-child interaction had a significant positive indirect influences onacademic performance through children’s executive function difficulty. The results of this study indicated that mother-childinteraction and children’s executive function difficulty are important for children’s academic performance.
