청소년의 임파워먼트를 위한 의생활 영역 가정과수업의 적용

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 임파워먼트 향상을 위해 개발된 비판과학 관점의 의생활 교수⋅학습과정안을 적용하고 그 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기도 Y시에 위치한 K중학교의 2학년 학생(총 42명)으로 선정하여 총 4주 동안 12차시 수업을 적용하였고, 개발된 교수⋅학습과정안 적용을 통한 임파워먼트의 양적 분석을 위해 5점 척도의 설문지를 구성하여 측정한 후 SPSS/win22 프로그램을 이용하여 대응표본 t-검증으로 분석하였다. 질적 분석을 위해서 학생 상담 자료, 수업일기, 실행 보고서 등을수집하였고, 임파워먼트 분석틀을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개발된 의생활 교수⋅학습지도안 중 모듈A에서 모듈D를 각 2시간씩 진행하였고, 모듈E는 실행 프로젝트로 총 4시간을할애하여 진행하였다. 모둠별 실행 프로젝트에서는 학생들이 주도해서 홍보 포스터, 스티커 제작 후 배부, 의생활 퀴즈, 온라인상에 의견 올리기, 홍보 동영상, 재활용품 만드는 방법 알리기, 지역사회 기부 등의 사회 참여 활동을 실행하였다. 둘째, 개발된교수⋅학습지도안의 양적 자료를 분석한 결과, 정치⋅사회적 임파워먼트가 사전 평균 3.12에서 사후 평균 3.36으로 유의미한결과가 나타났다(t=-2.06, p<0.05)였다. 임파워먼트의 질적 자료 분석 결과, 수업을 통해 학생들은 자기 효능감을 인지한 것으로확인되었다. 개인내적 차원은 긍정적인 자기 인식과 자기 효능감, 대인관계적 차원은 원활한 의사소통, 민주적 의사결정 등을확인할 수 있었다. 정치⋅사회적 차원은 타인을 도움으로써 사회에 환원하는 내용 등을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, 비판과학관점의 가정과수업이 청소년의 임파워먼트에 양적⋅질적으로 유의미한 영향을 주어 학생들이 사회에서 자신의 역할을 찾고,타인과의 협력하며, 사회구성원으로서 책임 있는 행동을 할 수 있는 기회를 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to apply the clothing teaching-learning plan from a critical science perspective developed toimprove teenager’s empowerment, and to examine it’s effects. A total of 12 plans of 5 modules(Module A to E) developedfrom critical science perspective were implemented for four weeks. Second-year students (N 42) of K Middle School locatedin Y-si, Gyeonggi-do participated in the study in the study, and the survey results were analyzed quantitatively using t-tests. For the quality analysis, The student interview data, action reports and etc. were collected, and qualitative analysis was conductedusing empowerment model as the analysis framework. The findings of study are follows. First, two hours each for modules A to D, and four hours for module E were assigned, because module E included anaction project. In the action projects by for groups, students were expected to take the lead in conducting the activities suchas developing promotional posters, posting opinions online, promoting videos, informing how to make recyclables, and donatingto the community. Second, as a result of analyzing the pre-implementation vs post-implementation empowerment scores, a significantdifference was found in social-political empowerment (t=-2.06, p<0.05). According to the analysis of student interviews andstudents project’s reports, students were found to become aware of empowerment through the instruction. On the intrapersonallevel, positive self-awareness and self-efficacy, and on the interpersonal level, smooth communication and democraticdecision-making were confirmed. This study is meaningful in that regular a home economics instruction class from a criticalscience perspective have made a quantitative and qualitative impact on teenagers’ improvement empowerment, providingopportunities to find their roles in the soceity, cooperate with others, and behave responsibly as members of society.
