학사경고경험에 따른 대학생활적응 중요도-수행도 분석

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 대학생이 인식하는 대학생활적응에 대한 요구를 파악하여 대학생활적응 지원을 위해 우선적으로 고려되어야 할 요소를 탐색하는 것이다. 연구방법: 서울․경기 지역 4개 대학 대학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고, 303명의 응답자료를 IPA를 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 대학생이 지각하는 대학생활적응의 중요도와 수행도는 19개 문항 모두에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 학사경고경험에 따라 대학생활적응의 중요도는 6개 문항에서 유의한 차이를 보인 반면 수행도는 17개 문항에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 집중개선영역에 위치한 문항들이 일반학생과 학사경고경험있는 학생에서 다르게 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구는 대학생활적응의 중요성을 확인하고 수행도를 점검하는 계기를 제공하였으며, 향후 대학생활적응 지원을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the high priority attributes for supporting students adjustment to college by identifying their perceived needs of adaptation to college life. Method: The data collected from 303 college students of four universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province was analyzed through IPA. Results: First, statistically significant differences existed between the students’ perceptions of importance and performance in all of the 19 items. Second, according to students experience being on academic probation, statistically significant differences were found in 6 items of the importance of college adaptation; on the other hand, in the 17 items of the performance indicator. Third, items belonging to the ‘Concentration here’ quadrant were presented differently in accordance with the experience being classified on academic probation. Conclusion: The research findings showed significant attributes in terms of importance and performance and provided the preliminary data for the future interventions to support students adjustment to college.
