초․중․고 교사의 전문적 자본 보유유형 및 영향요인 탐색

국문 초록

이 연구는 경기교육종단연구의 3차년도 자료를 사용하여 초․중․고등학교 교사들 간 전문적 자본이 어떤 차이를 나타내며, 어떤 보유유형을 나타내는지, 그리고 이러한 유형에의 영향요인은 무엇인지 분석하였으며 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교 간 전문적 자본의 차이를 분석한 결과 인적 자본과 의사결정적 자본의 경우 초등학교 교사가 중・고등학교 교사에 비해 높은 평균값을 나타냈지만, 사회적 자본은 중・고등학교 교사의 평균값이 초등학교 교사보다 높았다. 둘째, 교사들의 전문적 자본은 어떻게 유형화되는지 잠재계층의 수를 확인하고 각 잠재계층의 비율과 양상을 분석한 결과 초・중학교 교사들은 각각 2개 계층으로 사회적 자본의 보유격차가 컸으며, 고등학교 교사들은 4개 계층으로 인적 자본 및 사회적 자본의 보유격차가 크게 나타났다. 셋째, 교사의 전문적 자본 보유유형에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과, 중학교 교사는 ‘저사회적자본형’을 기준으로 ‘고사회적자본형’의 변수별 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과 교사 수준에서는 여교사이고, 교직만족도가 높을수록 ‘고사회적자본형’에 속할 확률이 높았고, 학교 수준에서는 학교장지도성이 높은 학교에 재직할수록 ‘고사회적자본형’에 속할 확률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 고등학교 교사는 ‘저전문적자본형’을 기준으로 변수별 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과 교직 경력이 높고, 학력이 석사 이상이며, 사기・열의가 높을 때 ‘고인적자본형’에 속할 확률이 높았다. 그리고 여교사이고, 교직경력이 낮으며, 사기・열의가 높을 때 ‘고사회적자본형’에 속할 확률이 높게 나타났다. 또한 사기・열의가 높을수록 ‘고전문적자본형’에 속할 확률이 높게 나타났다. 하지만 초등학교 교사의 경우 ‘고사회적자본형’의 변수별 상대적 영향력을 조사한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 변수가 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 분석결과를 바탕으로 교사의 전문성 신장과 관련한 시사점 및 제언을 결론에 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the difference of professional capital among elementary, middle and high school teachers using the 3rd year data of GEPS, The main results are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the difference of professional capital between schools, the elementary school teachers showed higher average value than the middle and high school teachers in the case of human capital and decisional capital, but the average value of social capital was higher than that of elementary school teachers. Second, as a result of analyzing the ratio and pattern of each potential class, the gap of social capital among the elementary and middle school teachers was two, respectively, and the high school teachers The gap between human capital and social capital is large. Third, as a result of analyzing the factors affecting the types of professional capital holdings of teachers, middle school teachers examined the relative influence of high social capital type on the basis of low social capital type , At the teacher level, the higher the satisfaction of teaching, the higher the probability of belonging to high social capital type , and at school level, the higher the school principal s leadership is, the higher the probability of belonging to high social capital type . As a result of examining the relative influence of each variable on the basis of low professional capital type , high school teachers were more likely to belong to high human capital type when their teaching career was high, their academic background was more than masters, and their morale and enthusiasm were high. And it is more likely to belong to high social capital type when it is a female teacher, has a low teaching career, and high morale and enthusiasm. Also, the higher the morale and enthusiasm, the higher the probability of belonging to the professional capital type . However, in the case of elementary school teachers, the relative influence of high social capital type was not statistically significant. Based on the results of the above analysis, suggestions related to the growth of the professionalism of the teachers are presented at the conclusion.
