고등학생의 기술체험 교육기부활동이 학교행복감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 기술체험 교육기부프로그램을 이수한 고등학생이 지역사회 기관(장애인 종합복지관, 도서관, 어린이집)에서 교육기부를 실시한 뒤에 학생들이 느끼는 학교행복감의 변화에 관한 연구이다. 연구에 참여한 고등학생들은 남학생 15명, 여학생 21명이며, 연구기간은 2013년 4월부터 2015년 2월까지였다. 교육기부활동은 두 번에 걸쳐 실시되었는데, 1차는 8명의 학생이 2013년 7월부터 2014년 2월까지 수행하였고, 2차는 28명의 학생이 2014년 7월부터 2015년 2월까지 실시하였다. 학교행복감 측정을 위한 검사도구는 김종백, 김태은(2008)의 설문지이다. 실험설계는 위해 단일집단 사전· 사후 검사설계(One-Group Pretest-Posttest design)이며, 사전검사의 신뢰도는 0.807, 사후검사의 신뢰도는 0.848로 나타났다. 자료 분석은 유의수준 5% 수준에서 대응표본 t 검정을 실시하였다. 사용된 통계도구는 SPSS 18.0 이다. 교육기부에 따른 학생들의 감정이나 느낌을 파악하기 위해 전문가집단을 구성하여, 검사도구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 훼손하지 않는 범위 내에서 행복이란 단어를 떠 올리면 생각나는 그림이나 단어를 적게 하는 서술형 1문항을 포함하였다. 연구결과 학교행복감의 하위요소에서 유의수준 5% 수준에서 유의미한 결과를 보였다. 질적인 고찰을 실시한 결과, 자신이 알고 있는 것을 나눈 다는 사실에 행복하다는 것을 느꼈으며, 학생들이 기부활동 준비 등의 노력을 통해 친구와 선생님을 이해하였으며, 학교생활에서 자신감을 얻었다고 진술하였다. 실제로 기술과학관련 사범대학교에 진학한 학생도 있었다. 기부대상 기관에서도 이전의 성인중심의 교육기부에서 경험할 수 없었던 점에서 추가적인 교육기부를 원하였다.

영문 초록

This research is about the change in school happiness experienced by high school students who implemented education donation at local community centers (rehabilitation center, library, daycare center) after having completed the education donation program of technology experience. The participant group consisted of 15 male high school students and 21 female counterparts, and the research was conducted from April, 2013 to February, 2015. The education donation activity was held twice: one from July 2013 to February 2014 with eight students, the other with 28 students from July 2014 to February 2015. The test tool used to measure school happiness is a questionnaire developed by Kim Jong-baek and Kim Tae-eun (2008). The research was based on a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design for the experience design. The credibility of the pretest indicated 0.807 while that of the posttest showed 0.848. The resource analysis was conducted through the matching sample t-test at 5% of significance level. The statistical tool used is SPSS 18.0. As a result of the research, subelement of school happiness proved to be meaningful at 5% of significance level. The participants took part in an interview about the quality of the research whose response included that they felt happy to share what they had already known, that they became able to understand friends as well as teachers while trying to prepare for the donation activities, and that they got confidence in school life. Even there was a student who proceeded to an education college of techno-science. The organization donated also wanted additional education donation due to its freshness, which was hard to experience in adult-centered education donation.
