국문 초록

이 연구는 간학문적 통합방법을 적용한 체육과 중심의 교과통합프로그램을 개발, 적용하여 프로그램의 효율성을 검증하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 H초등학교 5학년 학생 실험집단 26명, 비교집단 26명을 연구의 대상으로 선정하였다. 프로그램의 타당성 검증은 심리적 특성과 사회적 특성에 관한 설문을 바탕으로 실시하였다. 연구결과 심리적 특성과 사회적 특성 모두 긍정적인 변화를 보여주었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 한 결론은 다음과 같다. 체육과 중심의 교과통합 프로그램 개발은 교육과정에서 추구하는 역량을 함양할 수 있는 간학문적 통합방법을 제시하였고, 학생들의 인성함양에 효율적인 프로그램임을 보여주었다. 결론적으로 간학문적 통합방법을 적용한 체육과 중심의 수업은 신체활동을 유지하면서 교과를 풍성하게 가르칠 수 있는 체육수업의 장으로서의 변화와 더불어 학생들의 인성함양에 효율적인 교과통합프로그램임을 제안한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the methods for developing an integrated curriculum focused on physical education and to verify the validity of the developed integrated curriculum through applying it to teaching students. The validity of the program development procedure and that of the program should have undergone a process of verification by an expert group. for the validation of the integrated program, two classes of 5th graders of H elementary school were selected: one class for the experimentation(26) and the other for the control group(26). By applying the integrated program, those areas of psychological characteristics and social characteristics were reviewed and analyzed. Both psychological and social characteristics showed positive changes. The results of the study were as follows: First, the developed integrated curriculum focused on physical education showed the interdisciplinary integration method that can enhance the ability to pursue in curriculum. Second, It was an effective program to cultivate students character. In conclusion, this study can suggest the possibility to achieve the reinforcement of relevant lessons of physical education while maintaining physical activity and effective in cultivating student character by practicing this interdisciplinary curriculum method.
