국문 초록

2015 개정 교육과정은 창의·융합형 인재 양성을 지원할 수 있도록 핵심 역량을 반영한 교육 과정을 추구한다. 본고는 교육과정 총론의 개정 방향과 관련된 국내외 교육과정 관련 연구들 을 고찰해보고 미술과 교육과정 개발을 위한 방향을 논의하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본고는 최 근 국가교육과정 개정의 사례 및 특징을 비교하여 미술과 교육과정 개정의 시사점을 도출한 다. 창의·융합형 인재상이 경제적 관점만을 중심으로 해석될 때의 문제점, 글로벌 보편성을 추구하는 핵심역량과 미술과 교육과정 실천과의 관계성, 그리고 미국의 국가핵심예술기준과 백워드 교육과정이 추구하는 교육과정 개발 원리를 미술과에 적용할 때 고려해야 할 점을 생 각해 보았다. 국가 교육과정이 추구하는 인재상과 핵심역량을 미술과에서 실현하기 위해서는 미술교육 실천에 비판적 고찰을 바탕으로 학교 미술에서 가르쳐야 하는 핵심 개념, 기능 등 의 내용요소 선정을 위한 연구와 합의가 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

The curriculum framework of 2015 Revision of the Korean National Curriculum is suggested as enhancing creativity and convergence ability in future characteristics of society. In consideration of a range of existing discourses in regard to curriculum development of national and global level such as key competency in terms of global curriculum governance existed in OECD. Comparative examples of foreign countries’ examples of curriculum are discussed. This study examined key competency in curriculum document of recently revised countries including Finland, New Zealand, and Taiwan. To connect conceptual discussion of National Art Curriculum on the issues of goals, accomplishment objectives, core contents, and evaluation, contextual understanding is required for curriculum revision in global and local perspectives. Creativity and convergence education should be considered diverse disciplines including art education not only economical viewpoint. Art educators also need to reconceptualize the needs of teaching art in terms of students’ key competency and enduring understanding of artistic process and ideas. This study would provide analysis of current discourse and issues regarding reform of National Curriculum. In addition, the author argues that the public space of controversial curricular issues must be accessible to art curriculum researchers in the ways in which art educators fully communicate for constructing multiple pathways of discussion.
