미술치료학 석사학위과정생의 우울증 청소년 미술치료 현장실습 체험연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 미술치료학 석사학위과정생의 우울증 청소년 미술치료 현장실습 체험의 본질과 그 의미를 밝혀내는 것이다. 본 연구의 연구 참여자 총 11명의 평균 연령은 30세였고, 이들은 미술심리치료학 석사학위과 정에 재학 중인 자, 석사학위 과정을 수료한 자, 석사학위 졸업자로, 이들은 석사학위과정 중에 우울증 청소년 을 대상으로 미술치료 실습의 경험이 있다. 자료 수집은 2015년 8월부터 11월까지 4개월 간 심층면담을 통해 이루어졌다. 본 연구는 van Manen(1990/1994)의 해석학적 현상학 연구 방법론을 적용하였고, 수집된 자료를 분 석하여 9개의 본질적 대주제와 33개의 하위 주제를 도출하였다. 9개의 본질적 주제는 우울증 청소년이 마음의 문을 열 수 있도록 심혈을 기울이지만 난관에 부딪힘, 초보 실습자인 나의 무능력함을 통감하며 갈피를 잡지 못하고 혼란스러움, 우울증 청소년을 보면서 올라오는 감정과 나의 문제를 깨달음, 우울증 청소년을 기다려주 고 버텨주는 것은 힘들지만 필요한 시간임을 깨달음, 진심을 전하는 미술치료사가 되기 위해 최선을 다함, 미 술치료가 지닌 치료적인 힘을 몸소 체험하게 됨, 이론을 실제에 적용하고, 현장경험의 필요함을 절실함, 수퍼비 전을 통해 도움을 받고 동기들에게 든든한 지지를 받음, 미술치료사로 성장하는데 발판이 됨, 이상이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to understand art therapy trainees' experience of art therapy with adolescents with depression. The data was collected with 11 art therapy intern students who were enrolled in an art therapy master's course. The participants had over three months of art therapy practical training with adolescents with depression. The in-depth interviews conducted over for four months, from August 2015 to November 2015. The collected data was analyzed in accordance with van Manen’s (1990/1994) hermeneutic phenomenological qualitative methods, and as a result, nine essential topics and 33 sub topics were identified. The nine essential topics are as follows: (a) facing difficulties from building relationships with adolescents with depression; (b) having confusion by realizing incompetence, not knowing what to do and feeling confusion; (c) realizing my personal issues with emotions from dealing with adolescents with depression; (d) even though supporting and standing by depressed adolescents was exhausting, feeling the need for these moments; (e) trying to be an art therapist working with authenticity; (f) through art-making process and art works, having had experienced the possibility of art therapy; (g) applying theories into reality, and realizing the need for field experiences; (h) receiving helps from supervision, classes and peer support; (i) became a stepping stone for being a more mature art therapist.
