탈북가정 아동의 불안과 위축행동 감소를 위한 인간중심 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 인간중심 미술치료가 탈북가정 아동의 불안과 위축행동 감소에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고 자 실시하였다. 연구대상 아동은 중국에서 어머니와 라오스를 거쳐 한국으로 입국하였으며, 부모가 이혼하였고 어머니는 동거인과 사이가 좋지 않은 환경에 있었다. 아동은 초등학교 1학년 여학생으로 표정이 어둡고 대답을 하기보다 우는 행동으로 표현하고 친구들과 잘 어울리지 못하는 것으로 인해 담임교사에 의해 의뢰되었다. 면 접과 심리검사(CBCL, HTP, KFD, SCT) 결과를 바탕으로 연구대상 아동의 문제행동을 불안과 위축행동으로 정 의하였다. 탈북가정 아동을 대상으로 인간중심 미술치료를 2014년 6월부터 2014년 12월까지 주 1회, 총 20회 실 시하였다. 인간중심 미술치료는 공감적이고 수용적인 치료자의 태도와 함께 아동이 자유롭게 매체를 선택하고 표현할 수 있도록 하였다. 그 과정은 아동에게 심리적 안정을 제공하고 아동이 자신과 세상을 창의적으로 바라 보고 자유롭게 표현할 수 있도록 도왔다. 탈북가정 아동을 위한 인간중심 미술치료는 불안과 위축행동 감소에 긍정적 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 사례연구로 일반화할 수 없으므로 비교연구 등의 다양한 연구 가 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of person-centered art therapy to reduce anxiety and withdrawn behaviors for the child of a North Korean defector. The subject of the study was a first grade elementary school girl whose mother defected to South Korea from China through Laos. Her mother got divorced and was on bad terms with her live-in boy friend. The child had a depressed look, cried instead of saying her thoughts and did not get along with her classmates. Thus, her homeroom teacher asked that she receives art therapy. The child's problem behaviors were anxiety and withdrawn behaviors according to the results of the first interview and psychological tests (CBCL, HTP, KFD, SCT). The person-centered art therapy lasted from June, 2014 to December, 2014. The child attended the therapy once a week for 20 sessions. The therapy allowed for the girl to choose materials and express herself with the art therapist's empathic and accepting attitude. This process gave the girl psychological stability, and helped the girl look at both herself and the world creatively. The results of the study show that there were positive changes in both anxiety and withdrawn behaviors for the child of the North Korean defector. However the study cannot be generalized due to its nature as a case study, so other studies are needed.
