알코올 중독자의 우울과 불안 감소를 위한 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 미술치료가 알코올 중독자의 우울과 불안 감소에 효과가 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 W군에 위치한 알코올전문병원에서 DSM-5에 의거해서 알코올 중독으로 진단을 받고 입원치료 중인 환 자이다. 또한, 우울척도(BDI)가 중한 우울 범위에 속하며, 불안척도(BAI)가 심한 불안 범위에 속하고 미술치료를 희망하고 참여가능 한 2명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 미술치료를 실시(주 1회, 80분, 총 12회기)하기 전과 실 시 후에 우울척도(BDI)와 불안(BAI)척도 검사 그리고 그림검사(DAS, KHTP)를 실시하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같 다. 첫째, 미술치료를 통해 내담자들의 우울척도(BDI) 점수가 감소하였으며, DAS의 사전에 비하여 사후그림의 내용이 긍정적으로 나타났다. 둘째, 미술치료를 통해 내담자들의 불안척도(BAI) 점수가 감소하였으며, KHTP의 사전에 비하여 사후 그림검사에서 긍정적인 변화가 나타났다. 마지막으로, 회기가 진행 될수록 내담자들은 내 면을 표출, 인식하는 과정을 통해 안정감을 찾아가게 되어 우울과 불안적 행동이 감소된 것을 살펴 볼 수 있었 다. 따라서, 본 연구의 미술치료 프로그램이 알코올 중독자의 우울, 불안을 감소시키는데 효과가 있었음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine how art therapy affects alcoholic patients in terms of decreasing depression and anxiety. Study subjects who were selected were alcoholic patients who were diagnosed and cured as alcoholics in accordance with the DSM-5 and were admitted to the hospital, which is an alcohol specialty hospital located in 'W' District. These patients had serious depression and severe anxiety scores on the BDI and BAI and wanted to participate in art therapy action. Two people were selected as study subjects. Both before and after the art therapy (once per week, 80 minutes per session for a total 12 sessions), the researchers administered the BDI and BAI and drawing tests (DAS, KHTP). Analysis of the results are as follows. First, the clients revealed a reduction in depression (as measured through the BDI) through art therapy, and there were positive individual changes in the DAS picture tests before and after the therapy. Second, the clients revealed a reduction in the anxiety (as measured with the BAI) through art therapy, and there was positive individual change in the KHTP picture tests before and after the therapy. Therefore, it was observed that the art therapy programs had an effect in reducing the depression and anxiety of alcoholics.
