청소년 미술치료사의 치료과정 경험에 대한 연구- 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 이용하여 -

국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년 미술치료사를 대상으로 미술치료 과정 중 겪게 되는 경험은 무엇인지 알아보고자 하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 질적 연구 방법 중 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 방법을 실시하였다. 연구 참여자는 공공기관, 사설상담센터에서 청소년 미술치료사로 일하고 있는 경력 만 3-10년차 12명의 미술치료사로 각 그룹 은 6명씩 2개의 그룹으로 나누어 한 그룹 당 3시간 정도의 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 자료 분석은 객관적인 분석을 위해 2명의 분석자와 1명의 감수자가 자료 분석에 참여하였으며 인터뷰 내용을 전사하여 Krueger(1998)가 제시 한 분석방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구자가 내용을 명확히 구분하고 정확히 이해하기 위해 반복적으로 읽고, 단어, 맥락, 내적인 일관성, 의견의 빈도, 의견의 다양함과 강도, 특이성, 중요도를 분석하여 범주화하였다. 이러 한 과정의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년 미술치료사를 하게 된 동기는 2개의 주제로 치료사의 개인적 경 험에서부터 시작됨과 치료사로서의 책임감으로부터 시작됨으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 치료과정에서 일어나는 경험 은 5개의 주제로 치료구조화 단계에서 겪는 갈등, 치료 시 적절한 기술부족, 청소년 미술치료의 상담과정을 극 복, 치료사 자신의 개인적 성숙이 변화의 계기가 됨으로 구분되었다. 셋째, 청소년 미술치료사의 자질에서는 2 개의 주제로 치료사의 탁월한 전문성 확보의 계기가 됨, 치료사로서 성숙된 인간상이 요구됨으로 구분되었다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to determine what art therapists specializing in adolescents experience while they are in sessions with their clients. A focus interview, one of the qualitative research methods, was conducted for this study. The study participants were 12 art therapists specializing in adolescents. The lengths of their work experience ranged from 3 to 10 years. They were divided into two groups of 6. Each group was given an interview lasting about 3 hours. For the analysis to be objective, two analysts and one supervisor participated in the analysis. The researchers transcribed and analyzed the interview based on the method presented by Krueger (1998). The researcher read the interview content carefully to understand the content clearly. The findings of this study were as follows. The first unit demonstrated two themes, the therapist's personal experience and the therapist's sense of responsibility. The second unit elicited five themes: conflicts emerging with the structure of the therapy, lack of skills as a therapist during the session, overcoming the counseling process of adolescent art therapy, and the personal maturity of the therapist as an occasion for change. Third, the two themes of the third unit are as follows: an occasion to gain professionalism as a therapist and personal maturity as a therapist.
