영문 초록

The author has studied on the marital status of 130 cases of schizophrenic patient (male 67,female 63), from June to September 1980 among out-and in-patients of psychiatric department of Busan National University Hospital as well as private psychiatric clinics and psychiatric in stitu te s located in Busan areas. Results obtained from this study were as follows； 1. Sex ratio of the patients who married ,after breakdown was high, in the male patients (male 28.4%, female 15.9% ). 2. In the male patients who married after break down, late marriage was seen with high proportion. 3. Most of the marriage was accomplished by arranged one in both sexes (male 85.1%, female 8 7 .3% ). 4. The marital status at the time of study showed that a. More than one half of total cases were mostly engaging in treatment only in both sexes (male 59.7%, female 52.4% ). b. Divorced status was seen much more in the male patients. - c. Separation or divorce under discussion was much more in the female patients. 5. Divorce was frequently performed during the period 1-2 year or 7-8 year later after break dow n in the male patients, but not in the female patients. A mong the divorced cases, over one half of all were done by mutual agreement in both sexes, but forcible divorce was noticed only in the male patients. 6. Separation which was significantly more frequent in the female patients was mostly done forcibly during early period of illness.
