국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 성경적 상담의 맥락에서 그리스도 안에 거함(ἐν Χριστῷ)이 갖는 실천적 함의를 살펴보는 것이다. 이 연구는 그리스도 안에서 형성되는 새로운 질서 가운데 정체성, 인지, 정서의 측면에 대하여 논한다. 성경은 그리스도 안에서 신자가 새롭게 됨을 강조한다. 그리스도 안에서 새 창조된 자는 그리스도 중심적 정체성을 형성한다. 그리스도 안에서 얻은 새 정체성은 전인을 그리스도 중심으로변화시키는 기초가 된다. 그리스도 안에서 새롭게 된 인지는 하나님의 말씀을 최고의 권위로 삼고, 계시 의존 해석을 하며, 성령과 말씀의 조명을 받는 선한 양심으로 모든 것을 분별함으로 삶의 구체적인 정황 속에서 성경적 사고방식을 형성한다. 그리스도 안에서 새로워진 정서는 그리스도의 성품과 뜻을 모든 정서 가운데 구현함으로써 그리스도를 반영하고, 이는 하나님의 존재와 그분의 나라를 갈망하는 하나님 정향 정서를 낳는다. 궁극적으로 이 연구는 성경에 기초한 상담은 내담자가 그리스도와 연합 가운데 그리스도 안에서 얻는 새로운 전인적 질서를 형성해 갈 수 있도록 이끌어야 함을 강조한다.

영문 초록

This study explores the practical implications of abiding in Christ (ἐν Χριστῷ) within the context of biblical counseling. Scripture emphasizes the believer's renewal in Christ, a transformation that this study examines through the areas of identity, cognition, and emotions. The new creation in Christ establishes a Christ-centered identity, which serves as the foundation for transforming the believer to become more like Christ. This new identity shapes every aspect of a person's life, guiding their actions, values, and relationships to align with Christlikeness. Cognition, renewed in Christ, forms a biblical mindset that relies on God’s revelation, with the Word as the supreme authority. A renewed mind enables believers to understand everything dependent on God’s revelation, and discerns everything with a godly conscience illuminated by the Holy Spirit and the Word, thereby forming a biblical way of thinking in the specific circumstances of life. Renewed emotions allow believers to experience a fuller range of feelings that are rooted in godly values, promoting spiritual growth and relational health toward God. Ultimately, this paper argues that biblical counseling can help clients establish a new, holistic way of being that is deeply rooted in union with Christ. By fostering a Christ-centered identity, renewed thinking, and God-oriented emotions.
