‘다치다’류 어휘상 특징에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본고의 목적은 ‘다치다’류 어휘상의 특징을 살피고 ‘-었-’과 결합해 현재 상태를 나타내고, 결과상 ‘-어 있-’과는 결합하지 못하는 이유를 어휘상의 특징과 문법상 의미와의 결합 제약에서 찾아 설명하는 데 있다. 한국어 선어말어미 ‘-었-’과 결합해 현재 상태를 나타내는 ‘다치다’류는 진행상 ‘-고 있-’과 결합해 반복상 해석을 받기 때문에 순간성동사로 분류할 수 있다. 순간성동사의 하위 부류인 달성동사와 일회성동사와의 비교를 통해 ‘다치다’류의 상적 특성이 [-상태성], [+순간성], [+종결성]을 지녔지만 ‘다치다’류는 [순간성]의 정도성이 달성동사보다는 강하고 일회성동사보다는 약하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 현대 한국어 ‘-어 있-’은 완료상 용법 중 하나인 결과상의 의미를 지닌다. ‘다치다’류는 전형적인 달성동사에 비해 [순간성]이 강해 시작점이 부각되지 못한다. 또한 결과 이후 상태에 대한 함의가 없다는 상적 특징 때문에 ‘-어 있-’의 지속 의미와 상충되어 둘은 서로 결합할 수 없다는 제약을 지닌다. ‘-었-’과 결합해서는 과거 시제 혹은 일시적이고 즉각적인 현재 상태를 표현하게 된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to find the lexical aspectual features of ‘dachida’ type and explain the reason why Korean words such as 'dachida' express the present state by combining with the pre-final ending '-eoss-' and can’t be combined with perfect marker '-e is-, through their lexical aspectual features and combination contraits. 'Dachida' which express the present state by combining with the pre-final ending '-eoss-' is punctual verb because when combined with the progressive marker '-ko iss-', they receive an iterative aspect. Through a comparison with achievement verbs and semelfactive verbs, it has been revealed that verbs like 'dachida' have aspectual features of [-state], [+punctual], and [+telicity]. It was observed that the degree of punctual in verbs like 'dachida' is stronger than in achievement verbs but weaker than in semelfactive verbs. Additionally, they are absenct from implications regarding the state after the result. The type of 'dachida' do not strongly emphasize the initial point compared to typical achievement verbs. Modern Korean '-e iss-' has one of the meanings of perfect aspect, which is the resultative aspect. they are constrained from combining with the meaning of sustained action expressed by '-e iss-' because of their conflicting characteristics. And it express the past tense or the temporary and immediate present state by combining with the pre-final ending '-eoss-'.
