국문 초록

본 논문은 D대학 고전읽기 교과 <명저읽기>의 ‘읽기, 쓰기, 말하기, 듣기’ 통합교육을 위한 수업을 구성하고, 실제 사례 분석을 통해 효율성과 의의를 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 했다. 이를 위해 구성주의 이론에 주목했는데, 읽기 교과는 개인의 인지 활동(인지구성주의)과 사회와의 상호작용(사회구성주의)을 통한 활동이 통합되어야 진정한 의미를 구성할 수 있다. 인지구성주의를 바탕으로 ‘읽기-쓰기’를 연계해서 텍스트의 사실적 내용을 이해하는 ‘지식, 이해’에 해당하는 활동으로 ‘인상적인 부분과 이유’를, ‘적용, 분석, 종합, 평가’에 해당하는 활동으로 ‘서평’을 제시했다. 이 수업은 학습자들에게 텍스트에 대한 이해와 읽기에 대한 동기를 부여할 수 있으며, 종합적 인식과 평가를 통해 심화된 사고를 가능하게 한다. 한편 담화공동체의 구성원인 동료와의 소통을 중시하는 사회구성주의를 바탕으로 ‘말하기-듣기’를 연계해서 발표와 토론을 통한 동료 학습으로 수업을 구성했다. 이를 통해 학습자들은 능동적으로 의미를 구성할 수 있으며 동료 학습자들과 다양한 의견 교환을 통해 사고를 확장할 수 있고, 비판적 사고도 함양할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The goal of this paper was to construct a class for integrated education of ‘reading, writing, speaking, and listening’ in the subject, and to examine its effectiveness and significance through analysis of actual cases. For this purpose, attention was paid to the theory of constructivism, which states that reading subjects can only create true meaning when individual cognitive activities (cognitive constructivism) and activities through interaction with society (social constructivism) are integrated. Based on cognitive constructivism, it is an activity that corresponds to 'knowledge and understanding' to understand the factual contents of a text by linking 'reading and writing', and 'impressive parts and reasons' corresponds to 'application, analysis, synthesis, and evaluation'. ‘Book review’ was suggested as an activity to be done. This class can motivate learners to understand and read texts and enable in-depth thinking through comprehensive recognition and evaluation. Meanwhile, based on social constructivism, which emphasizes communication with colleagues who are members of the discourse community, the class was structured as peer learning through presentations and discussions by linking ‘speaking- listening’. Through this, learners can actively construct meaning, expand their thinking through the exchange of diverse opinions with fellow learners, and develop critical thinking.
