국문 초록

수학교육 정책은 교육현장에 긴밀한 영향을 끼치지만 이에 대한 수학교육 학계의 관심은 크지 않은 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 제3차 수학교육 종합계획의 일환으로 운영된 2023년도 수학교육 정책사업 중 지능형 수학교실, 수학나눔 사제동행팀, 수학점핑· 나눔학교에 소속된 교사와 학생들을 대상으로 사업 운영의 만족도와 개선 방안을 조사하였다. 이를 위해 설문 문항을 개발한 후 온라인 설문조사를 실시하여 교사 1,713명, 학생 19,193명 응답을 수집했다. 연구 결과, 위 사업에 참여한 교사와 학생들은 정책사업의 운영 현황을 대체로 긍정적으로 평가했으며, 정책사업을 통해 학생의 수학적 사고 및 역량 함양과 더불어 교사로서의 수업 전문성도 신장되었다고 인식하였다. 구체적인 설문 결과를 토대로 수학교육 정책사업의 성과와 개선 방안에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Although mathematics education policy has a significant impact on the educational settings, it has received limited attention from mathematics education researchers. In this study, we examined the status of implementation of mathematics education policy projects in 2023, such as the Intelligent Math Classroom, the Teacher-Student Math Sharing Team, and the Math Jumping and Sharing School, which are part of the Third Comprehensive Plan for Mathematics Education. We conducted surveys of teachers and students to assess their satisfaction with these individual projects and to gather feedback for improvement. To do this, we developed survey items and conducted an online survey, collecting responses from 1,713 teachers and 19,193 students. The results show that the participants were generally positive about the implementation of these policy projects and perceived improvements in students’ mathematical competence and affective domains. Based on the results of the survey, we discuss the achievements of the mathematics education policy projects and provide insights for further improvement.
