국문 초록

본 연구는 경기교육종단연구 4-9차년도 자료를 이용하여 교사의 수업 방식에 대한 학생들의 인식이 수학 흥미와 자기효능감의 변화에 미치는 영향을 종단적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 수업 방식을 강의법, 발문법, 발견학습 및 탐구학습, 토의법, 협동학습으로 구분한 뒤, 각 수업 방식에 대한 학생들의 인식에 영향을 미치는 학생 및 학교 수준의 변인들을 다중회귀분석을 통해 확인하였고, 이어서 잠재변화점수모형을 통해 학생들의 수학 흥미와 자기효능감의 종단적인 양상과 학생들이 인식한 수학 수업 방식이 수학 흥미와 자기효능감의 변화점수에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 교사의 수업 방식에 대한 학생들의 인식은 선행학습, 사교육, 교사의 사기 및 열의, 교사의 수업 능력 등 학생 수준 요인과 학교급, 학교 유형, 교과교실제 등 학교 수준 요인에 영향을 받으며, 수업 방식의 유형에 따라 그 영향력이 다르게 나타나는 점이 확인되었다. 또한, 학생들의 수학에 대한 흥미와 자기효능감은 학년이 올라감에 따라 감소하는 경향이 있으며, 교사의 수업 방식에 대한 학생들의 인식은 수업 방식의 유형에 관계없이 흥미와 자기효능감의 변화점수에 유의미하게 정적인 영향을 미치는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 흥미와 자기효능감이 시간의 흐름에 따라 달라질수 있음을 고려하여 잠재변화점수모형을 적용함으로써 종단적인 관점에서 수업 방식 인식의 영향을 확인하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the impact of students' perceptions of teachers' instruction methods on changes in mathematics interest and self-efficacy, using panel data from the 4th to 9th years of the Gyeonggi Education Panel Study. Multiple regression analysis was performed to identify student-level and school-level variables affecting students' perceptions of each instruction method, including expository instruction, questioning instruction, discovery and inquiry-based learning, learning through discussion, and collaborative learning. An analysis based on the latent change score model was performed to determine the longitudinal aspects of students' math interest and self-efficacy, alongside the impact of their perceptions of instruction methods on change scores of math interest and self-efficacy. The results revealed that students' perception of teachers' instruction methods is influenced by various student-level and school-level factors, with effects varying based on the type of instruction method. Also, it was found that students' interest and self-efficacy in mathematics tend to decrease as they progress through grades, while their perception of teachers’ instruction method have a positive effect on their interest and self-efficacy regardless of the type of instruction method. This study underscores the significance of understanding the impact of students’ perception of instruction methods on changes in their math interest and self-efficacy, using the latent change score model.
