디지털 배지를 통한 비교과 교육 활성화 방안 연구 - 텍스트 마이닝 분석을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학 비교과 교육 혁신의 대안으로써 관심이 증대되고 있는 디지털 배지에 대한 대중의 인식과 평가를 분석하여 발전적 대안을 도출함을 목적으로 실시되었다. 이를 위해 네이버, 다음, 구글, 트위터, 유튜브 등 온라인상에서 “디지털 배지” 관련 문서를 수집하여 텍스트 마이닝 분석을 시행하였다. 분석 결과, 블록체인 기술은 디지털 배지의 기능을 좌우하는 중요한 요소임이 인식되고 있었고, 디지털 배지와 교육의 연관관계는 “디지털”화가 그 매개 역할을 하고 있음이 나타났다. 또한 CONCOR 분석을 통해 온라인상에서의 대중은 디지털 배지를 첨단 교육 기술의 집약체이자, 디지털 교육환경에 필수 불가결한 요소이며, 대학 혁신을 위한 대안으로 인식하고 있음이 확인되었다. 연구 결과를 토대로 비교과 교육의 활성화 및 성과 극대화를 위한 디지털 배지 관련 정책의 확대를 제안하였다. 본 연구는 비교과 교육에 관한 온라인 인식을 빅데이터 텍스트 마이닝기법으로 분석한 최초의 연구라는 점에서 학술적인 가치를 지니며, 연구 결과에 대한 정책적 제안을 제시하였다는 의의를 가진다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze the public's perception and evaluation of digital badges, which are gaining increasing interest as an alternative to university comparison and educational innovation, and to derive developmental alternatives. For this purpose, text mining analysis was conducted on documents related to “digital badges” collected online from Naver, Daum, Google, Twitter, and YouTube. As a result of the analysis, blockchain technology was recognized as an important factor that determines the function of digital badges, and “digitalization” played a mediating role in the relationship between digital badges and education. Additionally, the CONCOR analysis confirmed that the online public perceives digital badges as an integration of cutting-edge educational technology, an essential element in the digital educational environment, and an alternative for university innovation. Based on the research results, expansion of digital badge-related policies to revitalize extra-curricular education and maximize performance was proposed. This study has academic value in that it is the first study to analyze online perceptions of extra-curricular education using big data text mining techniques, and is significant in that it presents policy suggestions regarding the research results.
