초등교사 행위주체성 측정 도구 개발

국문 초록

연구목적 변화의 주체로서 초등교사의 역할을 강조하고 이를 실천적으로 논의하기 위해서는 행위주체자로 서 초등교사의 모습을 구체화할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 초등교사 행위주체성을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하여, 개념의 의미와 구성 요인을 규명하고 공유하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 초등교사를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 구성 요인을 도출하고 측정 도구를 개발하였다. 구안한 문항에 대한 전문가의 검토로 내용타당도를 검증하였고, 요인분석을 통해 구인타당도를 검증하였다. 마지막으로 준거 도구와의 상관관계를 통하여 공인타당도를 확인하였다. 연구결과 초등교사 행위주체성의 5개 구성 요인은 ‘교육목표 헌신’, ‘집단적 효능감’, ‘자율권 인식’, ‘전문 적 성찰’, ‘영향력 인식’으로 나타났다. 이러한 초등교사 행위주체성은 전문성을 스스로 개발하는 개인적 차원에서부터 학생, 동료 등과 협력하여 다양한 대상에 긍정적인 영향을 끼치는 집단적 차원까지 포괄하는 개념이었다. 결론 초등교사 행위주체성의 구성 요인에 대한 이해는 초등교사를 자신의 교육활동과 교육 공동체의 문제에 참여하고 함께 목소리 낼 수 있는 사회적 행위자로 보는 시각을 마련해줄 것이다. 또한 초등교사가 행위주체성을 발휘하기 위한 환경을 지원하고 실천적으로 의미를 공유하기 위한 개념적 틀로 본 측정 도구를 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose: In order to emphasize the role of elementary school teachers as agents of change and discuss this in practice, it is necessary to specify the construct factors of the elementary school teacher agency. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to derive the constructs of elementary school teacher agency and to develop and validate an inventory that can measure it. Methods: A survey was conducted targeting elementary school teachers to verify the statistical validity of the inventory. Content validity was secured through expert review of the questions, and construct validity was verified using exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling. Finally, concurrent validity was verified through correlation with the reference inventory. Results: The inventory consisting of five constructs was extracted. The five constructs were ‘commitment to educational goals’, ‘collective efficacy’, ‘awareness of autonomy’, ‘professional reflection’, and ‘perception of influence’. Agency of elementary school teachers was a concept that encompassed actions from the individual level of developing expertise by oneself to the collective level of behavior that had a positive impact on various targets by collaborating with students, colleagues, and other individuals. Conclusion: The inventory of agency for elementary school teachers will provide a perspective to view them as social agents who can participate and speak out their voices in their own educational activities and issues of the educational community. It is also significant in that this inventory can be used as a conceptual framework to support an environment for elementary school teachers to demonstrate agency and share meaning in practice.
