국문 초록

안전디자인은 인간에게 가장 기본적인 안전에 관한 문제를 해결하고 보다 더 안전한 삶을 제공하려는 목적으로 개념화된 디자인의 영역이라고 볼 수 있으며 재난, 안전디자인에 대한 관심은 최근들어 더욱 고조됨에 따라 이와 관련한 많은 디자인 시도와 결과들이 가시적으로 나타나며 생활의 한 부분으로 자리잡고 있는 실정이다. 안전디자인은 도시, 환경, 제품 영역에서 다수의 연구가 이루어졌고 그 중 성과를 내기도 하고 좋은 선례를 남기기도 했으나 산업현장에서의 안전디자인은 어느 영역 못지않게 필요한 부분이지만 아직도 거의 접근이 이루어지지 않았던 것이 사실이다. 안전디자인을 통한 산업현장의 문제요소 개선의 목적은 산업단지 현장의 문제요소를 최소화하고 안전하게 개선하기 위하여 안전디자인을 전략적으로 활용하는 것이다. 또한 이는 작업자를 배려하고 안정적인 산업현장 질서 구축을 도모하여 보다 안정적이고 질서있는 환경을 구축함으로써 잠재적인 사고발생을 억제할 수 있는 접근 방법이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 지금까지의 국내외 관련 문헌연구에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 안전디자인 개념과 구성요소, 안전디자인의 범위에 대해 살펴보고 또한 작업공간 중심의 산업현장에서의 안전디자인 요소를 도출하고 산업현장에서의 안전디자인 평가지표를 제안하였다. 본 연구는 안전디자인의 확립을 통하여 산업현장에서 접하게 되는 제품, 시설, 공간 등의 안전성을 사전에 확보하여 안전사고를 근원적으로 방지할 수 있고, 나아가 사회 전 분야에서 안전디자인을 촉진하고 확산함으로써 모두가 안전하고 쾌적한 생활이 가능한 사회를 조성하는데 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Safety design can be seen as an area of design conceptualized for the purpose of solving the most basic safety issues for humans and providing a safer life. As interest in disaster and safety design has increased recently, many related designs have been created and this attempts and results are visible and have become a part of life. Many studies have been conducted on safety design in the areas of cities, the environment, and products, and some of them have produced results and set good precedents. However, safety design in industrial sites is as necessary as any other field, but is still barely accessible. The purpose of improving problem factors in industrial sites through safety design is to strategically utilize safety design to minimize problem factors in industrial complex sites and improve them safely. In addition, this can be said to be an approach that can suppress potential accidents by establishing a more stable and orderly environment by considering workers and promoting stable industrial order. This study examines the concept and components of safety design and the scope of safety design through a theoretical review of related literature studies and also derives safety design elements in industrial sites centered on work spaces and Safety design evaluation index were proposed. This study aims to fundamentally prevent safety accidents by securing the safety of facilities, products, and spaces encountered at industrial sites in advance through the establishment of safety design. Furthermore, by promoting and disseminating safety design in all areas of society, this study aim to contribute to creating a safe and comfortable society.
