사회유대이론을 적용한 다문화 청소년의 집단괴롭힘에 관한 연구

국문 초록

우리 사회는 다양한 민족과 인종이 함께 거주하는 다문화 국가로 나아가고 있다. 다문화 국가로 나아감에 있어서 아직까지 해결되지 않은 숙제가 남아있다. 이는 다문화 청소년의 집단괴롭힘이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 사회유대이론을 중심으로 다문화 청소년의 집단괴롭힘에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하고자 하였다. 사회유대이론은 개인과 사회 사이의 유대가 약하거나 깨졌을 때 범죄가 발생한다고 가정하였다. 즉 본연구에서는 사회유대이론의 구성요소인 애착, 관여, 참여, 신념이 다문화 청소년의 집단괴롭힘에 미치는 영향요인을 실증적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 한국청소년정책연구원에서 실시한 다문화청소년 패널 데이터를 활용하여 SPSS 프로그램을 통해 기술통계 및 상관관계 분석 그리고 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 다문화 청소년의 집단괴롭힘에 있어서 친구 애착과 교육에 대한 열망 그리고 여가 및 문화활동 등이 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었다. 다문화 청소년의 집단괴롭힘에 미치는 영향 요인을 크기 순으로 비교하였을 때는 친구 애착, 교육에 대한 열망 그리고 여가 및 문화활동 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다문화 청소년 및 일반 청소년 모두가 집단괴롭힘이 없는 학교 생활을 영위하고자 하는 시사점을 논의하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

Our society is moving toward becoming a multicultural country where people of various ethnicities and races live together. There are still unresolved issues in moving toward becoming a multicultural country. This is group bullying of multicultural youth. Accordingly, this study sought to identify the influencing factors on group bullying among multicultural youth, focusing on social bond theory. Social bond theory assumed that crimes occur when the bond between individuals and society is weak or broken. In other words, this study sought to empirically verify the influencing factors of attachment, involvement, participation, and belief, which are components of social bond theory, on group bullying of multicultural youth. In this study, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted using the SPSS program using multicultural youth panel data conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute. As a result of the study, it was found that friend attachment, desire for education, and leisure and cultural activities have an influence on group bullying among multicultural youth. When comparing the factors affecting group bullying among multicultural youth in order of size, the order was attachment to friends, desire for education, and leisure and cultural activities. Based on these research results, we attempted to discuss implications for both multicultural youth and general youth to lead a school life free of group bullying.
