수학 예비교사들의 교과 역량 중심 수업 실행 지식 분석

국문 초록

국내외 수학교육 동향이 수학적 역량을 함양하는 것으로 설정되면서 교과 역량을 함양시키는 수업을 실행하는 것이 중요해졌다. 본 연구는 학생들의 교과 역량을 함양시키기 위해 교사가 수업을 어떻게 실행해야 할지에 대한 지식(KII)을 예비교사들의 수업실행에서 분석하였다. 예비교사들은 의사소통 역량을 함양시키는 발문과 학생 중심의 수업은 잘 이행하였으나 교과 역량 관련피드백 제공 지식은 미비한 것으로 나타났다. 예비교사들이 설계한 수업과 비교해볼 때, 학생들에게 요구하는 수학 교과 역량의수준이 수업 실행과 일치하지는 않았으나 교사가 학생의 반응을 민감하게 관찰하고 수용할 때 수업 실행에서 수업 설계보다 교과역량의 목표가 더 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 학생 역량이나 이해 과정에 관심을 두지 않고 수렴적 발문을 하고 교사가 자신의 질문에 스스로 답을 하는 교사 중심의 수업을 진행할 때는 수업 실행 지식이 수업 설계 지식보다 교과 역량의 목표 수준이 낮았다. 본 연구는예비교사의 수업 실행을 면밀히 분석하여 교과 역량 중심의 수업에서 나타나는 특징을 상세하게 나타냈으며, 이 사례들은 학교수업의 변화를 도모할 수 있는 예시가 될 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 예비교사의 수업 실행 지식에만 초점을 두었으나 추후 현직교사의 수업 실행 지식과 학생의 역량 이해 지식을 포함한 연구로 그 내용이 확장될 필요가 있음을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

As the direction of mathematics education was set to foster mathematical competency, implementing instruction that fostered mathematical competency became important. This study analyzed the teaching practices of preservice teachers and investigated KII of how teachers should carry out teaching to develop mathematical competency. Preservice teachers were found to have implemented the question to develop communication competency, student-centered classes, and guidance on mathematical competency evaluation, but their knowledge of providing feedback related to mathematical competency was found to be insufficient. Compared to the design of a course competency-centered class, the level of math competency intended did not match the instruction implementation. but when teachers implement sensitively to student responses, implementation is better than design. However, when conducting teacher-centered classes in which convergent questions were implemented and teachers answered questions on their own without paying attention to student competency or understanding processes, implementation is worse than design. This study closely analyzed the teaching practices of preservice teachers and showed in detail the characteristics that appear in instruction focused on mathematical competencies, and these cases can be examples that can promote changes in school classes. Since this study only focused on preservice teachers, it was suggested that the research contents need to be expanded to include in-service teacher and knowledge of understanding of students' competencies.
