국문 초록

현대 사회의 시급한 에너지 문제와 재생 에너지에 관심이 높아지면서 친환경 및 재생 에너지원인 자연광은 건축 및 공간디자인에서 널리 주목받고 있다. 현대건축공간에서의 자연광은 조명의 수단일 뿐만 아니라 공간을 형성하고 건축가의 설계 사상을 표현하는 중요한 요소라는 것을 점차 인식하고 있다. 본 논문은 현대건축 공간디자인에서 자연광의 중요성과 특성을 심도 있게 논의하고, 건축가 아이 엠 페이의 작품에서 자연광의 특성을 해석하고자 한다. 이러한 발견은 현대건축 공간디자인을 구현하기 위해 자연광을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있도록 향후 건축 설계에 대한 아이디어를 제공한다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 아이 엠 페이 건축의 자연광 특성을 주로 연구한다는 한계가 있으며, 앞으로 이를 바탕으로 건축의 자연광 특성 연구를 계속하게 진행될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

With the pressing energy issues in modern society and the growing interest in renewable energy, natural light as an eco-friendly and renewable energy source has been widely recognized in architecture and spatial design. It is increasingly recognized that natural light in modern architectural spaces is not only a means of illumination, but also an important factor in shaping the space and expressing the architect's design ideas. This paper aims to discuss in depth the importance and characteristics of natural light in contemporary architectural space design, and to interpret the characteristics of natural light in the works of architect I.M. Pei. These findings provide ideas for future architectural design to efficiently utilize natural light to realize modern architectural spatial design. However, this study has the limitation that it mainly studies the natural light characteristics of Ieoh Ming Pei's architecture, and it is necessary to continue the research on natural light characteristics in architecture based on this in the future.
