국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 괜찮은 일에 대한 미래인식과 지각된 고용가능성, 그리고 정신적 웰빙 간의 관계에서 진로관여행동의 매개효과를 탐구하였다. 이를 위해 대학생 477명(남: 236, 여: 241)을 대상으로 괜찮은 일에 대한 미래인식, 진로관여행동, 지각된 고용가능성, 정신적 웰빙 수준을 측정하는 설문을 실시하였으며, SPSS 26.0를 사용하여 제시된 연구 변인들의 기술통계, 변인 사이의 상관관계 및 측정도구의 신뢰도 계수를 확인하고, Mplus 8.7를 사용하여 구조방정식 분석을 시행하여 이를 바탕으로 연구에서 제시된 가설들을 검증하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생들의 괜찮은 일에 대한 미래인식은 진로관여행동, 지각된 고용가능성 그리고 정신적 웰빙 각각에 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 진로관여행동은 지각된 고용가능성과 정신적 웰빙에 대해 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로관여행동은 괜찮은 일에 대한 미래인식과 지각된 고용가능성 그리고 정신적 웰빙 각각의 경로에서 유의한 부분매개효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 통해 본 연구는 대학생들의 미래에 대한 관념과 진로관여행동의 중요성을 강조하며, 교육 및 진로 상담 프로그램의 개발에 유용한 지침을 제시한다. 추가적으로, 이 연구는 진로 관련 행동의 역할을 더 잘 이해하고자하는 후속 연구의 필요성을 제시한다.

영문 초록

Recently, many studies have been conducted to understand the significance of optimistic perception towards the future, especially during school-to-work transition period. This study aims to examine how students’ perceptions toward their future work position influence their perceived employability and mental health (by applying the framework of Psychology of Working theory.) We analyzed the data of 477 undergraduates from a university located in Seoul, Korea. Overall, students’ perception of future decent work showed direct positive association with occupational engagement, perceived future employability, and mental health. Moreover, occupational engagement was positively associated with perceived future employability and mental health. Lastly, occupational engagement mediated the relationship between perception of future decent work and both perceived future employability and mental health, respectively. However, contrary to our expectation, the correlation between perceived future employability and mental health was not significant. We discussed both theoretical and practical implications of our findings and directions for future research.
