특수학교 진로전담교사의 직무역량 우선순위 및 요구조사

국문 초록

최근 진로교육법 개정을 통해 중등특수교육현장에 진로전담교사가 배치될 예정이다. 이에 진로전담교사의 직무역량 요구를 분석하여 진로전담교사 양성 및 연수에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해, 문헌을 통해 조사된 18개의 직무역량 중에서 전문가 협의를 거쳐 15개의 직무역량을 선정하였다. 이를 설문으로 구성하여 한국교원대학교에서 진로전담교사 부전공 자격 과정을 이수 중인 예비 진로전담교사 147명을 대상으로 설문 조사하고, 보리치(Borich) 요구도 분석을 통해 우선순위를 도출하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 진로전담교사의 요구도 우선순위는 진로심리검사, 진로진학상담 및 의사소통, 노동시장의 이해, 정보분석 활용 및 관리, 프로그램 개발 및 운영 순으로 요구도가 높았다. 전문성, 가족참여, 윤리성 등은 우선순위가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 배경 변인별에서도 상위 다섯 가지 순위의 직무역량 요인들이 우선순위에서 높게 나타났으며 특히, 진로진학상담 및 의사소통과 진로심리검사가 변인별로 가장 높은 직무역량 요구도를 보였다.

영문 초록

Through recent revisions of career education laws, career counselors will be placed in secondary special education sites from now on. At this point in time, it is important to find out what areas career counselors need prioritize development in among their needed areas of job competency. This study analyzes the job competency demands of career counselors and its necessity lies in its provision of base material needed in the cultivation and training of career counselors. To achieve the goal of this study, surveys were conducted on 147 preparatory career counselors training for qualification as minors in career counseling at the Korea National University of Education and a total of 113 participants were chosen as research subjects. Of the 18 job competency items researched through literature, 15 were selected through consultations with experts and order of priority was deduced by studying present levels and necessary levels according to the needs analysis of Borich. The results of this study showed that first, the priority order of the needs of career counselors showed that career psychology assessment, career counseling and communication, understanding of the labor market, information analysis utilization and management, and program development and management had high levels of priority while expertise, family participation, and ethicality had low orders of priority. Second, the job competency factors with the five highest orders of priority also had the highest levels of priority by each background variable and in particular, career counseling and communication and career psychology assessment showed the highest job competence needs by variable.
