학문 목적 한국어 학습자를 위한 발표 교육 내용 선정 연구

국문 초록

목적: 이 연구의 목적은 국내 대학에 재학 중인 유학생을 대상으로 발표 교육에 대한 요구 분석을 시행하여 한국어 발표 교육에 대한 교육 내용을 선정하고, 이에 대한 교육적 방향을 제안하는 것이다. 방법: 선행 연구를 토대로 발표 교육 요구도 분석을 위한 설문 문항을 구성하고, 부산·경남 지역의 대학에 재학 중인 학문 목적 한국어 학습자 56명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 그리고 대응표본 T-test, 보리치 요구도 분석, IPA매트릭스 방법을 사용하여 학습자의 발표 능력과 발표 교육에 대한 요구도를 분석하였다. 결과: 학문 목적 한국어 학습자들은 현재 자신의 발표 수준이 부족하여 발표 교육이 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 그중에서도 ‘발표 전 긴장감 관리’, ‘발표 후 청중이나 교사가 질문했을 때 불안감 관리’ 등의 발표 불안 관리에 관한 것과 ‘발음의 정확성이나 어조’, ‘적절한 말의 속도’와 같은 언어·표현 부분 그리고 ‘자신감 있는 표정’, ‘자연스러운 움직임’과 같은 비언어 부분에 관한 교육적 요구가 높게 나타났다. 결론: 학문 목적 한국어 학습자들을 대상으로 한 요구 분석을 바탕으로 선정된 교육 내용에 대하여 교육적 방향을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to conduct a demand analysis for presentation education targeting international students studying at domestic universities in Korea, and to select educational content for Korean presentation education while proposing educational directions. Methods: Based on previous studies, this research composed survey questions for the analysis of presentation education demands and conducted a survey targeting 56 Korean language learners for academic purposes. The collected data were analyzed using the paired sample T-test, Borich’s Needs Assessment Model, and the Importance- Performance Analysis (IPA) matrix method to examine learners’ presentation skills and their demands for presentation education. Results: The results indicated that Korean language learners for academic purposes recognized the need for presentation education, with a particular emphasis on aspects related to tension management before the presentation, anxiety management when facing questions from the audience or teachers after the presentation, language and expression aspects such as pronunciation accuracy, tone, and appropriate speech speed, as well as non-verbal aspects such as confident facial expressions and natural movements. Conclusion: Based on the demand analysis targeting Korean language learners, this study proposes various approaches to presentation education, focusing on the selected educational content.
